Hope hatred makes you feel better. But I hope more that you'll come to Jesus Christ when you realize He loves and waits for you.

I hope that your anger -- forbidden by St Paul -- subsides.
I hope that you repent of your idolatry in the myth of inerrency.

Also, if the Bible itself says it is interrant, how am I wrong? You're the one picking and choosing which parts you want to believe.

The second account is just reiterating WHERE God made animals from, but the main point is that they were brought before Adam for naming because they LACKED names until Adam was made.

Ahhhhhhhh, I see. Are you instead a Catholic who tries to find fault with the Bible so your "Traditions" can hold water?
Well, if the best you can do is blame the Bible for not including everything that has ever happened in history, you need to come up with something better.
MEN wrote the Bible, but they were ALWAYS inspired by God. To say otherwis ...[text shortened]... Judas' bloodmoney bought him a field (through the priests) and his iniquity bought him death.
religion is used copiously inour society, andhas been through time, as a way to manipulate people to act & think a certain way, there is no god looking down on you with her mark book, ticking off your devotive rhetoric, you have been seduced by clever propoganda that you cannot see through, you have been socialised into being religious....you are a fool, spend your time wisely, there is no god, you will not live forever so dont waste your time trying to be the good scout

Pardon me if I disagree about who has succumbed to propoganda.

They weren't written over a 2000 year period. The new testiment was written all around the same time (circa 30-100AD). Not over 2000 years. Silly person.

That doesn't point to the powerful and vengeful Messiah the Jews were looking for under Roman oppression. Opression in this world doesn't matter. Jesus came to free us from our SINS to enjoy ETERNAL life. HE was why the OT saints sacrificed lambs, because they looked forward to the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ at Calvary.
I urge you, read the book of John. Jesus was no mere man. Truly He was the son of God.

The old testament was written BY jews FOR jews, it is full of opression, vengance, murder and destruction, it in NO WAY points towards a meek and gentle messiah. It was written for anyone BUT jesus! And what on earth are you on about with this animal sacrificing rubbish? People of all nations and creeds sacrificed animals at all times in history to all manner of gods. Please try and make some sense.

The violence in the OT is not an evil God, it's a God protecting the people out of whom the SAVIOR OF MANKIND would come. Satan (who is very real) was waging a WAR on the Jews, because God had revealed the Messiah would come from them. Do you know how much the Jews have been persecuted in history? From the Pharoah to Hitler to modern day anti-Semitism it's ALL from Satan.
The sacrifice of lambs was symbolic for Jesus. He is the LAMB OF GOD. Why else do you think the Jews sacrificed ONLY lambs if any animal would work? It's SYMBOLIC for the Lamb of God. Jesus came to free us from our SINS not from opression on earth.
And guess what, if you're a Christian filled with the love of Christ, you don't WANT to oppress "Love everyone, even your enemies". If they had listened to His message, they would have been free in more ways than one.
Originally posted by DarfiusChristinaity is a religion filled to bursting with opression, you're talking plain rubbish. I am happy you are feeling so free, but the truth is your life is so opressed you have forgotten what real freedom is. Christianity thrives on opression, it's followers live by rules not by advices or suggestion, you do as you are told, not as you are encouraged. You are threatened to it by a promise of endless violence in hell. You go through life living in fear of endless pain. Tell me, where is the love in that? Where is the benefit in saying yes to a god that threatens you with hell? I would not take threats from a man in the street, why would I take them from a supernatural entity whose very existence is in question?
