This reference mentions neither marriage nor any other form of relationship. What it does mention is prostitution, ie: Paying a woman for sex, specifically a woman who has sex for a living. Surely what is meant here isn't sex out of marriage being a sin, but prostitution and 'laying' with prostitutes. I fail to see how this backs up your argument.

Let me ask you a question Silver, do you believe what it says in the bible wholeheartedly without reservation?
If so, has it occurred to you that the many many translations, re-writes, and altercations made to it over the years may actually have altered it's meaning? Humans make mistakes, what's to say that the bible you believe so steadfastly in isn't printed incorrectly?
Please read Mathew 5:28. Jesus says, 'He who even looks at a woman lustfully, has already commited adultery with her in his heart.' And the Bible is very clear that adultery is a sin; in the old testaent punishable by death.
Furthermore, I don't think I will reply anymore here. I just don't see any more use in it for whatever you ask I give but it gets critisised. If you still want to talk about this issue, then send me a private message. I'd be glad to do it that way. Anyway, thanks for your views.
My petition is that you study the Bible more thoroughly, with an open heart, so that God can speak to you and that you will listen. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Again, you don't address the points raised, and persist in writing irrelevancies.
Did I say adultery wasn't bad? Why do you bother to make the point then?
Why won't you even answer a simple question: where does the bible say it is wrong for an unmarried man or woman to kiss another unmarried woman or man?
Why won't you address the point that you are bringing you own interpretation to the Bible, in terms of what constitutes "lust" and "sexual immorality"?
Everybody following this thread wants to know what you think about this.
I mean, really, these are really straightforward questions. You started the thread "Is dating bad?" Now you finish the thread in bad faith by refusing to answer straightforward questions put to you, on the grounds that it is useless to continue, because we are criticizing you.
However, if you are wrong, then it is obviously useful, not useless, that we criticize you, because that way you might see the weakness in your position, and become wiser.

From my experience, and the experiences of those I've known; if you eschew dating, the odds that you will learn how to communicate with the opposite sex are against you. Thus, your marriage may be pure, but it will not be whole.
You can date without knowing a woman in the sense of "Adam knew Eve and she conceived."
