Is this not the crux of the matter? I just asked marauder on another thread if I have a right to know that someone who is voting for the president of my country is a citizen of my country. Sounds logical, doesn’t it?
I will not wait for him to answer that on the other thread, as he will have no answer, except to agree with me, which would shut down all of his anti-photo ID arguments.
So here is a new thread , please vote whether I have a right to know if a voter is a citizen or not . How much more simple can average Joe make it. All of my stuff is simple… even my analogies are simple.
@AverageJoe1 saidYes you are a simpleton.

@AverageJoe1 saidOh, goodness.oh my… This is average Joe’s aunt Plum. He asked me to make a comment, as he had referred to my bridge club a while back.

He said for me to ask you…. My bridge club has a proposal on the table to pay for fresh flowers on our bridge tables every Wednesday. We are going to vote on that tomorrow. What if a person comes in to a meeting for that vote, and tries to vote on the flowers? if someone comes in the door that we don’t know, should he prove his qualifications to vote? He is not a member of the Club. Oh my goodness, I am not comfortable doing this for average Joe. He also told me to tell you that he has always been right and that he has great questions on the forum.. my my….

in the social club I belong to, you have to prove that you are a paid up member of the club before you can vote!!
Even my club's rules for voting are more stringent than the federal government's.
@Earl-of-Trumps saidWow very compelling.

@Earl-of-Trumps saidYou will not get a coherent response to such an obvious point. I suggest you move onto another thread, maybe one that I started.!!!

@shavixmir saidEspecially someone who looks to prevent any US citizen from legally and constitutionally voting.
No. The voting boothe has a right to know if you are elligible to vote. Nobody else in this respect. Especially not some redneck trailerpark trash.
@Earl-of-Trumps saidThe US is not a social club.

Citizens have rights, which, just like the Second Amendment, should not be infringed.
@AverageJoe1 saidStorytellers aren't usually called on to relate facts.

Keep your stories to yourself.
@AverageJoe1 saidSo you are a citizen of the USA?

You know the laws governing the votes?
I have to assume since you want to take part in a debate around the topic.
Ever heard about voter registration?
Fun question in how many states needs a voter to be registered?
Less funny question: What are the conditions to be registered as a voter?
@Ponderable saidFive Question Marks, pondersble? All over the place? And what debate school did you go to? Please see OP.

You liberals cannot answer my simple question, just pitiful. Do you think that I have a right to know that a person who is voting next to me has qualified as an American citizen to the state.
Now, you can start writing like marauder does about the state, and like Susie Anne writes about it.
Or, you can tell me what YOU think. And you don’t need to use question marks.
Geez
@AverageJoe1 saidSo the question you put up, implicated that you are not allowed to know if a voter is a citizien. if you would know the law of your land you would know about voter rehistartion. And fun fact you may look up the registers, so :

Answer to your OP:
Yes you may know. And there are means to make sure.

@Ponderable saidI ‘think’ that is a yes???

You say the word you about six times. This is not about me. You could’ve answered the question without saying the word you. liberals get so personal.
@AverageJoe1 saidLittle man, you throw around accustaions aplenty, and never take up a shred of responsability.

So a foreigenr has to explain to YOU the very basic facts, and I do certainly hope that the statistical median of US citizens know the law of the land better than I do.
