Content based actions by the government restricting or punishing speech are presumptively unconstitutional. https://firstamendment.mtsu.edu/article/content-based/

An example: "a District of Columbia law prohibiting the display of signs critical of foreign governments within a certain distance outside embassies, in Boos v. Barry (1988)" was struck down by the SCOTUS.
...[text shortened]... ical protest, like the ones at issue, are protected speech regardless of what the protest was about.
Where do I begin. Recall that you are a creature of chaos, where I am exactly the opposite, so all of this is great for you, and may be leading to what you are all looking for. It will definitely take chaos to get there.

The google is full lof this stuff, the word disruptive comes up in every one. I hereby submit, as all evidence for my side , every link with the word disrupt in it. To me, disrupting is begging for automatic punishment,,,,,,by the govt stopping funds, and by the school, and maybe by the police throwing the rabble in jail.

( I hardly know what this means, as I find it impossible to identify with)

"In baffling decision, Harvard excuses violence against student briefly disrupting Chinese diplomat’s speech"
(last year I think, but, who cares when it was. Could be yesterday)

Chaos!! Chaos today!! Chaos tomorrow.!

Why did Biden not think of those miserable people, that are down and out while he was paying off the tuition of Rich college graduates?
Just a question, I don’t mean to get you heated up.
There you go, WHATABOUTHIMISMS.
Why didn't TRUMP think about those poor people in Trump V1?

@no1marauder said
Add the word "imminent" and that's about right.

"A state may not forbid speech advocating the use of force or unlawful conduct unless this advocacy is directed to inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action."

Ah, like on January 6th ?

I don't know what a Vi is, but how can you chide the administration (many people, not just Trump) for trying to rein in spending, when the mess he was left with had money allocated to give away to college graduates (who start at over $100k/yr). You are awared that if you have a loan of $1000 to pay, and the govt pays it, that it is the sme as giving you that money?? Are you aware of that? Geeez

So free money you never cared about, with miserable starving wretches on the street while Biden went to the beach. Screw them, as you like to say.
Tell us what you think about screwing the wretches so that we can have a level playing field. Yyou keep asking me what I think. What do you think about DOGE doing what it can to clean up the Biden sty?
Have you ever heard the phrase you gotta spend money to make money? That is sort of happening now. There is a cost to get us out of the mess. Do you think we would be better off if Kamala were president? What do you think things wld be like in 4 years?
Did you ever answer if you think it is OK for a Rich job-creator guy to have 6 vacation homes, one in Paris? Why wont you answer that question, you silly goose. Why won't you? And yet you want ME to answer YOUR questions.

Why don't you start a thread. '
The World Is Coming To an End!!!

Meanwhile, I shorted 30-Year Treasuries on Thursday, a windfall, and I gotta tell you, I see no end in sight.

Post something. It is a New Age, after all.
Has to be present day stuff for me, but you could have other readership that are not quite finished with Jan 6 and George Floyd and tearing down monuments. You know, I hate the people who tore down monuments, I can either write about that,,,,,,OR. OR OR write about finding democracy and sovereignty.
Sorry to confuse you with sovereignty, as that would conflict you with the alien invasion people......but maybe not, since we have shut those people down.
Sonhouse, could we be sovereign again? This is not exactly the wish of Marauder, how about you? Or, how about Jan 6!?!??!!?!?!?!?

While I have you, where can I get me one of those spotted towels that the Harvard slime is wearing , we are having a costume party. But I aint thinking about wearing it, I will hang it by the toilet in my guest bathroom. Trust me, every guy I know will be a'wipin with it. I can't believe you and Marauder like these people.

Yeah, for you NOTHING in the past effects ANYTHING in the today.
So all those felony convictions, bankruptcies, fines, businesses closed by the government NONE of that means anything because they were in the past.
It DOES say something. It SAYS we KNOW Trump was a grifter WAY back in time and the bitcoin crap PROVES he is a grifter TODAY and WILL be a grifter tomorrow and next year and next DECADE.
He was a proven grifter from the disgusting scandal of the so called 'Trump university' and 'Trump charity'. BOTH shut down because of court PROVEN grift SCREWING HUNDREDS of people, students just wanting an education and people thinking the money would be used for some worth cause, but in this case the worthy cause was Donald J Trump.
That is HISTORY, KNOWN history and the bitcoin grift is just the latest in a long string of grifts. Trump is a LONG term CROOK besides being a traitor to the US, because he is planning to KILL democracy and become a dictator. THAT is traitorous behavior in ANY language.
And I can PROVE it. Just go to my post the
the scariest part of that "beautiful bill'
But of course you won't believe it even if you read it but it is a REAL provision that if passed along with screwing 10 million out of health insurance, it signals a LITERAL end to our democracy by handing over SCOTUS to Trump, the courts would have no power to enforce injunctions and orders like the one SCOTUS made to facilitate the return of Garcia.
Trump could just stick his middle finger at them, YOU ARE MINE NOW.
THAT is what that provision means. The IMMEDIATE end to our democracy and at least THAT provision has to be defeated or there IS no democracy and Trump WILL be King Trump with NOBODY to check his abuse of power.
The entire US is on thin ice even before that sinister provision but if it passes that will totally complete the coup Trump has been working for for the last decade.
KING Trump. Maybe that is not even good enough for Trump. EMPEROR Trump.

I doubt any member of the Club would, for example, hold that men should compete with women, per our many discussions thereof.
So if someone overheard you and I chatting about your position, yes, they would feel uncomfortable about subjects of an abnormal nature.
So you are right, if I agreed with you that men should be allowed to overwhelm women in the world of ...[text shortened]... m chatting with you. But I would love to buy you a Moscow Mule, a popular vodka drink of the ladies.
Men already don't compete with women, at least not in sports.

But then you think men wear dresses, so....

Decimate a poor choice of words. Biden et al have spent a lot of money,,,,,over here, we call it waste fraud and abuse. You want to keep it up, we won, and we Do NOT want to keep it up.
Waste, Fraud and Abuse.

We know them better as Trump, Vance and Johnson.

Or rather, keeping them in order, Vance, Trump and Johnson.

American universities consistently rank among the best in the world. That is why it is so important that America continue to educate, not only Americans, but those from other lands and cultures as well. Not so that everyone will come to espouse the ideology of the sitting president, but so that people from closed societies may come to acquire the habits of impartially weighing evidence and critical thinking (habits notably lacking in the sitting president). Rebuking and ejecting those who disagree with us (or our political allies) is not how one deconstructs prejudice; if anything, that only hardens people in their prejudices. What best dissolves prejudice is sustained contact with people of other persuasions. Higher levels of education correlate to openness to other ways of thinking and doing things, whereas lower levels of education correlate to closed-mindedness and prejudice.*

There are many lists of the ten or hundred best universities in the world. Below are two such. The U.S.A. typically puts 4-7 in the top ten. It would not only be a shame for the U.S.A. to lose its standing, but ultimately counter-productive, since it would either merely re-direct foreign students to non-American institutions, or lead to a global decrease in education. The dumbing down of the world cannot be in anyone's best interest.

The EU will now throw €500M over three years to foreign scientists and future scientists that wants to re-locate to Europe. And there's a promise for more in the future.

They might as well have said; Trump is as vindictive as he is clueless. We understand the importance of R&D so come to the EU where the funding is stable and you don't risk getting thrown to a gulag in South America.

The long term effect of this is incalculable, though, certainly in the trillions of dollars. I think we can safely assume that the US dominance of the best universities are coming to an end.
