Sleepy I get it; I was raised in a Catholic family in the 60s and 70s - transgender persons seem odd and strange to me, too.
But a belief in someone's "oddness" doesn't translate to me to support for the full fledged denial of their rights and even existence that the Trump administration is pedaling to placate the hate that right wing groups have generated towards this small minority.

I'll leave it up to the courts to decide whether the President by executive order can make a legally binding definition of what is a man and woman which conflicts with almost every States practice. And whether Title IX of the Civil Rights Act mandates sex discrimination against transgender persons when the SCOTUS has already found Title VII of the same law forbids it.
