@no1marauder saidMARAUDER IS A BOT
Jesus, do your own research. The article clearly states that US Aid funds most non-military foreign aid:
"Since it was created in 1961, the United States’ primary aid agency has been the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). As of March 2024, according to the FedScope database, USAID employed 4,675 people, many of them overseas. In fiscal 2023, USAID distr ...[text shortened]... https://www.foreignassistance.gov/
Take your time; there's 36,377 budgeted activities for FY2023.
@Metal-Brain saidMarauder likes the tran issue. i never comment cause i dont know one is
That still does not prove anything. Funding transgender comic books is non-military foreign aid as well. This is about waste, not your transgender projects. Do you support funding transgender comic books? Yes or no?
@no1marauder saidgenateela. is that spelled right? gotta get it right for posting.
No, you're the one ignoring "common sense". When determining sex, normal practice is to look at external genitalia, not do chromosome tests. Your dishonest failure to admit this says volumes.
Swyer syndrome proves that our normal practice is correct. Here's another condition that kinda mucks up simplistic chromosome determination. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5%CE%B1 ...[text shortened]... ther pesky condition called de la Chappelle syndrome: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XX_male_syndrome
or how bout a word each , for dressing like opposite sex, having male parts removed, having male parts attached, and, well, that's about it. sure wud be easier for posting. what is lia thomas, for example.
@no1marauder saidReally? Today a Massachusettes city council voted to make a town which protects those people a sanctuary city for LGBTQ. No denial of rights.
Sleepy I get it; I was raised in a Catholic family in the 60s and 70s - transgender persons seem odd and strange to me, too.
But a belief in someone's "oddness" doesn't translate to me to support for the full fledged denial of their rights and even existence that the Trump administration is pedaling to placate the hate that right wing groups have generated towards this small minority.

@no1marauder saidCheck out this man marauder actually even writing a sentence about defining a diff in a man and a woman....or whatever in the hell he is doing. Jesus
Actually most transgender persons don't suffer from gender dysphoria. But those who do should be treated by medical professionals unhindered by restrictions placed on them by politicians who seem to be as ignorant of their condition as you.
I'll leave it up to the courts to decide whether the President by executive order can make a legally binding definition of what is ...[text shortened]... against transgender persons when the SCOTUS has already found Title VII of the same law forbids it.
@kmax87 saidBS, don't be lilke Marauder. And I question your 'plenty of girls"? Really? So, in a group of 50 girls, how many will have those enlarged hands and feet that you speak of? I would say none. Full of crap, you and Marauder.
As a teacher I see plenty of girls the same age as boys that have bigger hands and feet than the boys. But it will be hard for you to see that given you lean towards the extreme examples in any scenario.
But the sport bodies should decide. That the NCAA reversed their stance but with Trump holding a funding gun to their head seems less than ideal.

@wildgrass saidWell then FDR left a massive deficit.
George W. Bush inherited a surplus, so it was on track.
During World War II in the 1940s, then-President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s spending on the war effort created some of the largest deficits as a percentage of total gross domestic product (GDP) in American history.
It took a republican, Eisenhower to reverse that.
When looking at which president added the most to the national debt in dollar amounts, President Barack Obama takes the lead. Obama’s efforts to spur recovery from the Great Recession through his $832 billion stimulus package and $858 billion in tax cuts contributed to the rise of national debt during his presidency.
@Metal-Brain saidI know you've raised this point many times and you are correct.

Post world war ii cutting military spending was the right thing to do. Clinton also cut spending for the military.
This administration? Last I heard they were going to add $150 billion to Pentagon and thats despite the fact that the Pentagon knows that it has at least $100 billion overspent every year already.
@AverageJoe1 saidAre you now claiming God status. Prescience to know the features of the children that make up my students? I'm impressed!

For what its worth, at least until you get your God-vision sorted, my grade eights if I divided them into two groups, girls vs boys, the girls would absolutely pound them in a game of full contact rugby. The same for my grade 7's. To be fair I couldn't say the same for my grade 9's. And guess what? When do the puberty hormones really start kicking in?

Do you have a link for that?

@kmax87 saidI worked in a school district(all grades) for 15 years and you’re fos. You can go to a soccer field and watch five and six year olds play and see a huge difference between the boys and girl teams in talent and physical ability.

@mike69 saidThanks for comparing your district experience with my small personal experience where the size of the hands and feet among the cohort that I teach is nowhere as leaning towards the male gender as Average Joe would suggest. So I think you are the one that requires Metamucil.

@wildgrass saidGet away from the clown news network!
The new arrangement is a proposed $1.5 trillion cuts to federal spending.
Great.
Also part of the plan is $4.5 trillion cut to elite tax brackets.
Net would be a $3 trillion increase to the deficit.
Not great.
