@mott-the-hoople saidRead the indictment:
you need to be more specific…what did he do to warrant these charges?
https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/23909546-23sc188947-trump-et-al-criminal-indictment
DONALD JOHN TRUMP committed the felony offense of SOLICITATION OF VIOLATION OF OATH BY PUBLIC OFFICER, in Violation of O.C.G.A. §§ 16-4-7 & 16-10-1, in Fulton County, Georgia, by unlawfully soliciting, requesting, and importuning Speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives David Ralston, a public officer, to engage in conduct constituting the felony offense of Violation of Oath by Public Officer, by calling a special session of the Georgia General Assembly for the purpose of unlawfully appointing presidential electors from Georgia
DONALD JOHN TRUMP and JOHN CHARLES EASTMAN placed a telephone call to Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel to request her assistance gathering certain individuals to meet and cast electoral votes for DONALD JOHN TRUMP
Trump deliberately called officials to knowingly select electors illegally. He also committed election interference by plotting to have electors cast votes for him.
That's just a tiny drop of the full scale of acts he committed to get arrested.
@mott-the-hoople said"LOCK HER UP! LOCK HER UP!"
its all about democracy…arrest your opponent.
Remember that? And she hadn't tried to commit election fraud.
@wajoma saidYou are mistaken; Trump's favorability rating has been negative by a wide margin for years.https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/favorability/donald-trump/
Trump was arrested because of his popularity which has continued to climb as a result of everything the left does to try to stop his continued rise in popularity, a vicious circle.
If Trump had just melted into the back ground, gone off to play golf none of this would have happened.

Conservatives downplay crimes they commit with the most generic possible terms.
Republican: kidnaps a woman and throws her in his trunk
Conservatives: What's wrong with taking your date sight-seeing??
-Trump solicited government officials to illegally choose electors
-Plotted to convince electors to vote for him
-Pressured an election official to "find votes" for him.
All of that is election interference and each of those actions is illegal.

the first two are legal, the third is a lie.

@mott-the-hoople saidWrong.
the first two are legal, the third is a lie.
All three are illegal, which is why Trump has charges stemming from those actions.
Claim it's a "lie" all you want but a judge and grand jury determined they charges had enough evidence to indict.

@mott-the-hoople saidYou already got hammered in your "Repeating a Lie" thread.

Trump did more than merely ask Raffensberger for votes; he threatened him and his lawyer, accusing them of criminal acts if they didn't overturn the election.
@vivify saidShould not you excitables be more concerned about a 'Brain Shot' of Joe Biden? I truly think you are not concerned about the state of affairs, because, simply, the govt will always be there for you.

LMFAO.
This guy obviously spent hours practicing his "I'm tough face".
Gotta run, I missed a few posts on everyone's take on mugshots, trying to think of a real zinger to write.
@vivify saidYou left out that his personal lawyers seized voting machines and broke the seals on them. That’s a felony, and they clearly did it with his knowledge and approval.

@jj-adams saidThat picture will be the most famous mugshot in the world. Actually the picture is set to be the most known picture in the world far surpassing the NY workers sitting on a beam and the V-J day kiss.
His mugshot was awesome, look for T-shirts with it and buttons with TRUMP 2020 on them.
Thanks dims.
