@no1marauder saidThen, this opinion is a threat,,,,that it is his opinion that it is a criminal offense? If I say "Heyl Marauder you are breaking the law jaywalking!!!",, would my saying that be a threat?
"And you are going to find that they are — which is totally illegal, it is more illegal for you than it is for them because, you know what they did and you’re not reporting it. That’s a criminal, that’s a criminal offense. And you can’t let that happen. That’s a big risk to you and to Ryan, your lawyer. And that’s a big risk. "

@averagejoe1 saidUnlike you, Trump was the President, head of the Executive Branch which contains the Department of Justice.

That's the same Department which had already sent writings to various Georgia officials, including the Governor, containing the false claim that that Department had "significant concerns" regarding the results in Georgia. Count 22 of the Indictment.
One thing Trump isn't is subtle.

@no1marauder saidWhen did the 'concerns' become threats, subject to all punishment under the law? When did they become threats? If so, what harm did he say he would bring down on top of them? I am really missing something here. Yeah, I guess a trial is to thresh out real facts rather than Forum Conjecture.

A "big risk". What do you think he meant? Are you pretending or are you really that stupid?
Kinda like when the shakedown artist tells the storeowner he needs to pay for "protection" because "it would be a shame if this place burned down".
@no1marauder saidSo, let me get this straight......my attentin to your post here \goes sraight to your saying ........... "What do you Think He Meant??"

Jesus. Only Sonhouse gets to tell us, for our entrtainlment, what he 'thinks' someone Means!!!! Me, how am I supposed to know, Marauder, what someone thinks. You and SHouse always know, but how can we know?
Kinda like when the shakedown artist tells the storeowner he needs to pay for "protection" because "it would be a shame if this place burned down".Please spice all this up with applyiing the shakedown analogy, I like it but can't quite connect it to the facts at hand.
Like, if I walk into Hermann's store and say "you need to pay me (some money) for protection, ....it would be a place if your store burns down". What is the hook here?
@averagejoe1 saidWhy don't you answer the question?

What was the "big risk" Raffenberger was taking according to Trump? And what was the only way he could avoid that "big risk"?

Trump: Gee, you're taking a big risk of criminal charges if you don't find me enough votes to give me the election in Georgia.
Better?
Like the guy running the protection racket talking to the store owner, Trump is threatening unpleasant consequences (which he can control) if the victim doesn't accede to his demands.
