@vivify saidbefore musk it was a good way to pass time. You didn't have to follow celebs, i followed an account that posted for example funny patch notes from game developers or an account called "thetweetofgod", or what would a dog say if he could talk (it was adorable).
I've never had a Twitter account. Didn't see the need to view a celebrity's random thoughts in real time.
There were a lot of inventive and interesting accounts
George Orwell, 1984:
To meet the ideological requirements of Ingsoc (English Socialism) in Oceania, the Party created Newspeak, which is a controlled language of simplified grammar and restricted vocabulary designed to limit the individual person's ability to think critically or to articulate subversive concepts, such as personal identity, self-expression, and free will.
@athousandyoung saidI prefer my version of events but ok

@kevcvs57 saidThe term I used was " designed " to force people to comply. Forced, who knows, not yet I suspect ,by why have a compelled speech law unless it can be used, yes?. And watch the 5 min clip, too easy.
I guess you have many many actual provable cases of people being forced to use the term. 🙄
@jimmac saidEr no it wasn’t, it was designed for the exact purpose I cited in my post. Use it or don’t use it no one but a control freak would care.

Do you care if people choose to use it?
