@wildgrass saidNo, you have lost this one.
It's ok, you lost this one. No need to get so defensive.
Show me the projected numbers since that is all that is available. I showed you the projected numbers from my source. Biden will exceed Trump's spending by the end of Biden's term. You simply fail to accept that.
From the link below:
"Our ruling
Biden said the Trump administration "added more to the national debt than any presidential term in American history."
Trump did accumulate more debt during his term than any previous president’s single term, and also more than Biden has accumulated so far in his tenure. But Biden’s tenure isn’t over yet.
Projections say that Biden’s four-year term debt will exceed the total debt accumulated under Trump. Also, assigning debt to a particular president can be misleading because so much of it traces back to decades-old, bipartisan legislation that set the parameters for Social Security and Medicare.
The statement is partially accurate but needs additional context, so we rate it Half True."

And this:
"Trump’s biggest single federal debt spikes came from the initial rounds of coronavirus relief legislation in 2020. Trump signed them, but they passed with broad bipartisan support."
Both parties are to blame for Trump's debt. In fact, it was probably veto proof spending. So he signed it. Now stop being a partisan hack.
@Metal-Brain saidYes, both parties are responsible, but an obvious point. That's in my OP.

What I like about CRFBs analysis is it does not penalize presidents for past presidents mistakes. It only looks at spending or executive actions signed by that president and what they will cost over a 10 year period vs. what we can afford. Trump's not penalized for Obamacare spending, but he is penalized for eliminating the revenue generated to fund the program. Likewise Biden is not penalized for Trump's spending on wealthy people, he is penalized for the student debt relief and infrastructure spending.
President Trump approved $8.4 trillion in borrowing over a decade, while President Biden has approved $4.3 trillion so far in his first three years and five months in office
I am not partisan. Don't care at all which party these two belong to. I'll vote for the candidate with the smaller number every time.
@wildgrass saidYou are a liar. You are very partisan. You have a clear bias in favor of democrats.

Biden is projected to exceed Trump's spending at the end of his term.
@Metal-Brain saidYou're counting Trump's tax cut against Biden? He should have repealed all Trump's spending?
You are a liar.
Biden is projected to exceed Trump's spending at the end of his term.
The CRFB numbers are accurate. They only count the money each president signs onto.
Imagine it were the other way around. Trump followed his campaign promise and actually cut spending long term. Then Biden comes along. His spending would look better than Trump's even if he didn't do anything.
@wildgrass saidBiden continued Trump's tax cuts. The CRFB numbers are debt, not spending.

Once again you are betraying your own title to this thread. You said spending and you cite only debt. This entire thread is a lie.
Count spending, not debt.
@Metal-Brain saidBalance the checkbook.

Democrats are better at it.
@wildgrass saidBetter at taxing people with inflation. Biden spends just as much as Trump did.
Balance the checkbook.
Democrats are better at it.
This whole thread is a farce.
@Metal-Brain saidNo you are fundamentally wrong. Read the report.

@Metal-Brain saidLol there are other words in the title and OP too, like 'comparing'.

Compared to Trumps spending, Bidens spending has created twice as much debt.

And you wrote that last sentence backwards.
