I said I was posting information from the opinions of people.
I never said it was a news item.
There is nothing about logic.

People have their opinions. I posted what I read from those.

What is this logic about?

I thought you saw the video, it was on a social media post. Some ignorant Orc said Kirk's widow and his two kids needed to be killed too because they carried his genes, etc. Got removed pretty quick but people copied it and passed it around.
Right I know its there, but apparently some people think these are made up stories designed to create animosity against the left.

I tried to find it but it apparently has been buried pretty deep , which means ATY will never believe it. I'm sure a really diligent search will bring it up but I'm not wasting the time.

Wrong. The hatred for Charlie Kirk is far to obvious and widespread for it to be trolls. The hatred, the celebration, the dancing and rejoicing started immediately in the very same crowd that witnessed the assassination. About half of America is celebrating. The fact that some of these will now call for death to the family is not farfetched at all. Get a grip of reality moonbus. I know you are smarter and more aware than most.
There is no doubt that America has been highly polarized since Reagan, and getting more so every decade. There are so many unresolved issues --- and patience runs thin.

I recall a time when, when a political figure was assassinated, RFK or MKL, the people who were happy about it at least had the decency to gloat in secret.

I am very much in favor of holding social media platforms to the same standards as print media: if they print/post lies, slander, defamation, etc., their editors and owners/CEOs can be sued and served ruinous fines and compelled to publicly retract their lies, slander, etc., just like Alex Jones. Self-policing does not work.

Men are numerous, Socrates is a man, therefore Socrates is numerous.

Descartes thinks, therefore, Descartes is. A rock doesn't think, therefore, a rock isn't.

Property is theft. Therefore, theft is property. Hey!

Logic is fookin' greet, mon!

Got it, partially:

They don't include the part where she says the widow and his children should "go" before they are allowed to reproduce.

I agree with your SM point and holding people accountable. I think it is happening right now. There are US govt depts monitoring these posts on SM, people are being identified, and if they are on a US Visa they will be deported, and if not, they may be refused entry at some later date if they try to enter.

Yes, I remember the case. I think reports indicate that many thousands are being fired or put on leave or being punished in some way for these posts which are inappropriate.

Cancel culture.

What people post on social media shouldn't effect their employment unless it's directly relevant to the job's duties.

If it hurts the business reputation by employing such a person they are perfectly within their rights to fire them.
1st Amendment means the government can't prosecute you for saying what you think, it doesn't mean you can be an as .s.hole and keep your job if you are turning customers off and people avoid the business because of you. .

Sure but its clearly cancel culture... Right wingers are calling employers to have their employees fired for posting Charlie Kirk quotes on social media. Our government saying that they will prosecute what they consider to be hate speech.

Wasn't Charlie Kirk a free speech absolutist?

They aren't made up but they aren't common, aren't associated with any real violence, are almost always posted by random unknown people looking for attention, and are DEFINITELY being shared widely by right wingers in order to create animosity towards the left as a whole.

Right wingers in our government are trying to make the argument that a hoard of violent leftists are out there shooting people. This is untrue.

You could use such logic to fire anyone for virtually anything in their personal life. It's unlimited Gladys Kravitz but for political retaliation urged by government officials and often used against public employees.
