Very well written, it hit the nail right on the head.
Calling one a racist is a weapon to silence people.
And man, do leftists ever love to play the race card.

    Bullying, to be sure.
IF ONLY calling a racist a racist would shut them up. But it doesn't seem to faze them.

And yet there are always covert racists willing to defend the overt racism.

You are intimidating everyone that supports the current admin into thinking
that if they talk positively about anything the admin does, they will be thought of as a racist.

Why don't you lay off with the BS calls of racism. It's inflaming and you know it.
No, I am just saying that condemning racism is not consistent with condoning it.

The word "racist" has been so blatantly overused and misused, no wonder
why it bounces off of people.

Try using it when it applies, and not just when someone disagrees with the left agenda

    Racism...

Joe Biden makes the flippant racist remark, "If you have a problem figuring out if you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black."

So where are the racist nazis in here, condemning Racist, Joe Biden?

This is why us clever ones know most of the leftists use the slur, "racist", against
people, not because they are dedicated to stomping out racism, but to gain
    political advantage.

Or, prove me wrong and just don't vote for racist Joe Biden in November.

    Yeah, right. Fat chance.

I have never voted for a candidate I fully agreed with, and I don't expect anyone else to do so either. Nevertheless, some viewpoints would be considered deal-breakers for me even if I agreed with a lot of other points. One of those viewpoints is racism. Clearly you have a different opinion in this regard, and consider other viewpoints as more important. That is certainl ...[text shortened]... tive, but not strong enough a negative to vote against a candidate and party strongly supporting it?
I asked you above what policy of Trump's I should condemn, for policies matter more than the politician. Since I think Democrat policies tend to be more harmful than Republican policies, particularly to blacks, it makes sense for me to prefer Trump over Hillary "I ain't in know ways taaaard" Clinton, your defacto "non-racist" candidate, especially since despite all the Trumpian racist dog-whistles the left is so attuned to, Trump is constantly banging a timpani drum about jobs, a strong economy, and increasing economic opportunities for everyone. That's what I want from an election, policies that will move society toward more freedom, smaller government, safety, law and order, and a decent shot at prosperity for all citizens (and when I say all citizens I should not have to further qualify it to satisfy you that I don't mean just the white ones, if we are having a respectful sharing of ideas).

@Sleepyguy since despite all the Trumpian racist dog-whistles the left is so attuned to,

    Isn't that the truth LOL!
The leftists are soooooooooo in tune with these alleged dog whistles that they
    can easily identify them.

    Good eye, SG

We HAVE been using it when it applies. The problem here is that a majority of white people take offense at being called racist, even if they ARE racists. Go figure.

JUST because someone "takes offense" does NOT mean the accusation is baseless.

And why not STOP assuming that the left is wrong? The right has been wrong since Reagan.

You're only CALLing it "misused and overused" BECAUSE it is aimed (and for good reason) at people who look like you.

That old canard again, that Democrat policies are more dangerous to blacks than Republican policies. Give me a screaming, freaking break. Especially since Reagan, Republicans have pursued policies which overwhelmingly benefit whites more than blacks. "The Man" keeping blacks down for generations in the twentieth century has been far more often Republican than Democrat. But go ahead with your white strategy that just saying something enough times makes it true. (It doesn't.)

What, in your view, was the reason that this forum was temporarily disabled?
by far and away, the biggest reason was to implement the new hate speech rule.
too many people making hateful accusations, like "racist", "troll", "white supremist".
You know, it's starts arguments where there should be none. So the forums
suffered the trolls for too long. It was a step in the right direction.

So do you know people in here that did that? They still do, they just have to be
careful how they do it, so they do things like ask loaded questions or talk
in code. You know about codes, right?

So actions have been altered but people's attitudes unfortunately are
still the same. Some of those above mentioned are still determined to spread
    their hatred into these forums.

But Russ is gaining on them, Kaz
