Sometimes they do sometimes they don't. I think it depends on how many alerts they are dealing with. I usually will get a reason for my post being removed, but not always.

@lemondrop saidI've had a thread moved before from General to Sports. I thought it was gone but they told he it had been moved to sports, this was years ago. They haven't seemed to be as strict about that as they once were.

I can recall threads in my mind going back to when I first starting writing on here (I was still a schoolboy - it feels like forever ago), and I just had a look and many of them appear to have vanished.
