Of course. Google decides what you will know. Your knowledge and ignorance determine who you vote for.

More so than most people know. The democrats think republicans are trying to overthrow our democracy and big tech is doing the exact opposite.

i would say it's still better than burning millions of dollars to bombard the elderly with adds on tv

with google i can find Marianne Williamson interviews even if i have to put in a minimal effort. mainstream media won't even have her on

So yeah, another instance of you making a mountain out of a molehill and getting worked up about the wrong thing

You don't need google.

https://brave.com/category/private-search-engine/

And you obviously did not watch the kim Iversen Show video I posted. It is obvious you don't know enough about this to get worked up like you should. Do you always post nonsense about things you know nothing about? This is no molehill and you seem to think you don't have a choice between search engines.

Indeed. This is a reason I know that liberals will win in the end...You are EVERYWHERE. Add to that that you are the party of illegals, and we (the USA) are doomed.

In terms of motive, Google is renowned for its liberal bias. You can see that in political donations by employees of Google, YouTube, and other subsidiaries of parent company Alphabet which went 94 percent to Democrats in 2016. Hillary Clinton's largest donor was Google/Alphabet.May 24, 2023

Yep, but democrats think Trump is the threat to democracy. Do you see how they always do the bait and switch thing? While sonhouse was screaming about how Trump would destroy democracy it was happening right under their noses and had no idea, but since Google favors democrats the democrats will predictably condone it. Their election meddling is for a good cause. That is how they think.

Just have Elon by that site, make it less functional and tank its to value less than a third of its worth. Problem solved.

Sonhouse has NEVER dealt with this problem like a adult on the Forum. He ignores even the simplest Dem asssault on democracy, the regulation of our kitchen applliances, ceiling fans, light bulbs, cars, the list goes on. Total exercise of authoritarian power. How 'bout it SHouse?

Correct, tech companies in general favor Dems, not just Google. This includes Twitter, prior to this year.

There should be congressional oversite to ensure search engines have non-biased practices based on objective criteria.

If a tech company wishes to support a political party it should be their prerogative. It is no different to an individual setting up an election sign on their property for a political party that best suits themselves.

I agree. What I'm referring to is their making sure public tools used to gather information is objective, like search engines. Google as a company can support anyone they want but their search engines should always remain objective.

Agreed. Google owns youtube so no surprise there. Twitter was replaced by X and seems a little better than it was before Musk bought it. Facebook is really bad too, but too big to fail it looks like.

What Google was doing is illegal. They should have been prosecuted.
