Yeah, it must have been a sickening spectacle which I managed to avoid seeing.

The statement is; Association Football is apolitical, and has no place giving out awards to anyone, except football players.

The question is; what (TF) does a sporting organisation know about peace, or world affairs? FIFA knows about football (soccer) and how best to profit from it. (seen the prices for tickets to the World Cup games? It's disgraceful. )

The opinion is; Football (soccer) is massively overrated as a sport, give me a good game of Rugby Union any day. (or cricket, of course)
