The difference is that her lies meant something…. they were cover-up lies, they were blaming lies, meant to deceive. lies that she said, and where she was proven wrong about what she said., being obvious intents to deceive
Trump‘s statements on the campaign trail cannot be called the same kind of lies that she told. For instance, recall that she said that she was under fire when she was getting off an helicopter, which is a total lie. She said that the Bengazi thing was different than what it was, something about a video which was a total lie.
Trump is saying right now that he will give $5000 to every citizen if the Republicans are elected. It may be a campaign promise, (like the ones Obama made,) but I think he means it, and that he would follow up by asking Congress to do it. Itprobably won’t happen, and you will say that was a lie. No, he will ask Congress to approve that, and they might not. That is not the same thing.

And by the way, you say Obama saying we could keep our doctor was a lie. It wasn't a lie when he said it. It wasn't a lie until a Republican congress got ahold of the Affordable Care Act and neutered it far beyond what Obama intended. They MADE it a lie. The lie was THEY did that, not Obama.
