There's nothing so right wingy as pandering to hatred against a tiny minority group.
Decisions as to who is eligible to play in competitions should be made by the athletic organizations involved basing their determinations on science and if possible, mitigating any advantages by measures short of banning. That's how most international sports organizations are handling the issue.
Politicians shouldn't butt their noses in it at all.

Your second paragraph makes no sense. This is a moral discussion and no one ever mentions a few volunteers who are running a local swim meet making a decision that a boy can swim against my daughter. Nor should an Olympic chairman make a decision as whether a boy is allowed to swim again my Daughter. Would you like to address that civilly?

Note that I do not pose the question from the point of view as to whether the judges would allow the dog to enter or any other ramifications which would allow a dog other than a Collie to enter. I’m not talking about the judges. I’m talking about a show of Colles.That should help you to reach a conclusion.

You are aware, I am sure, that the very sign at the gate says Collie Dog show, which in itself makes it impossible for your poodle to be entered into the show. Now, Suzanne and son house could show up with some signs out front and walk around with them to allow the poodle, But all I would do is just point to the sign.

Whether you like it or not, transgender girls and women are treated as females in law.
Such bans are equal protection violations whether right wing courts agree or not.
Unlike the Roe decision, which was and is broadly popular, these decisions are not popular - and reversing them is not viewed as discriminatory. What is viewed as unfair is an XY playing in XX sports, a point which some courts have chosen to ignore.
