@no1marauder saidSo no actual evidence other than her saying it happened.
Well, he wasn't convicted because he fled and remained a fugitive until he died. And Acton's mother helped him do so.
That's the people you are now vouching for.
According to the articles, young Acton testified in front of the Grand Jury that indicted Arthur. That's not "hearsay".
I wouldn't convict anyone based on just someone saying it happened.
We know you would convict him though.
@no1marauder saidNo I'm going by evidence, and apparently their isn't any.
So that says 95% of such allegations are not "false".
Add in the flight to avoid prosecution and what percentage would that make it? Yet you're going to take the word of a woman who helped the accused rapist of her own kid escape justice?
The law didn't chase him down for a reason.
@J-D saidYou wouldn't be allowed anywhere near a jury then.
So no actual evidence other than her saying it happened.

"Although physical examination is important, the diagnosis of child sexual abuse is generally based on the affected child’s statements, which should be obtained according to the proper procedure. All physicians should know that the physical findings are normal in more than 90% of cases and understand why this is so. "

@no1marauder
So you think he said she said cases is more than enough "evidence" to convict someone and put them in prison for life?
You're a lawyer? A courthouse case lawyer?
Readers should note that No2 is okay with 5 percent of abuse cases being completely fake and he is also okay with sending those people to prison for life when they didn't do anything but he is against the death penalty for the less than one percent of people being innocent.
Make it make sense 🤷
@J-D saidNo, I think we should automatically accept as true statements from someone who helped someone accused of raping their own child escape prosecution.
@no1marauder

A trial would have helped resolve the issue but from some reason the accused here wasn't interested in clearing his "completely innocent" name.
@J-D saidOf course I said no such thing.

It makes sense that you are now reduced to such pathetic lies now that it has been shown that you would let the vast majority of child rapists go free because "kids lie".
@no1marauder
Her father made her say it because he hated the other guy who was banging his ex wife.
Since no real evidence exists, I'll say she is a liar.
The mother continuing to profess his innocence almost 30 years after his death is telling.
She is going against her own daughter to tell the truth which says a lot because most families will lie and go along with whatever their family members are saying, even if they know it's a lie.
Case in point, "urban people" do that a lot. 😉
@no1marauder saidNope. Wrong again.
Of course I said no such thing.

I said I'm not convicting anyone based on a he said she said case.
Go gather some evidence counselor, and stop wasting the courts time.
@no1marauder saidThe trial would have been nothing but her saying it happened because her father told her to say it.

People like you would have no problem convicting him.
He fled because of people like you convicting without evidence.
@J-D saidI can almost guarantee you that very few people are demented enough to see it the way you do though I'm sure that would be a popular viewpoint among child rapists.

Mom took her side 40 years ago, helped an accused felon escape justice and is now vindictively attacking her own daughter.
Somehow you find that admirable.
@no1marauder
Nope
Wrong again.
I said I wouldn't convict without evidence and I also provided known facts that one out of every twenty abuse cases are completely made up and false.
Your witness is a liar counselor 😉
@J-D saidA falsely accused man who was justified in your view to run away from the justice system.
The trial would have been nothing but her saying it happened because her father told her to say it.
People like you would have no problem convicting him.
He fled because of people like you convicting without evidence.
Incredible.
Should all accused child rapists get the same privilege i.e. to flee their trial after an indictment?
@J-D saidAnd so are the 90% of child rape victims who show no physical signs of molestation.
@no1marauder
Nope
Wrong again.

Right?
