The type of cooperative egalitarian system that would be most conducive to survival on the island is also the one that is most conducive to survival in a society of 300 million as it is based on human nature. A grossly unequal, exceedingly hierarchical system such as unregulated and unrestrained capitalism invariably produces leads to strife and conflict as it can only be maintained by force and/or threat of force. The Mr. Howells of the world require troops to enforce their "private property rights" when those rights lead to poverty and deprivation for those arbitrarily deprived of the use of the Earth's resources. That is a sure recipe for conflict, unrest and violence.

Yes, people do live in such societies and most societies on Earth since prehistoric times have adopted such hierarchical systems. But just because a tiger can survive in a 10' by 10' cage in a zoo doesn't mean it enjoys it or normally thrives in it. Ditto for humans who are naturally empathic, social and egalitarian but are forced into social systems that are at war with their natures.

I meant , Marauder, thousand and me. Appears Wolf has gotten caught up, the world of the erudite and such as that. Trump in Vietnam makes him nervous .....that Trump may pull it off! Or , he will fail, and he will go down as history's worst,,,,,,oh great, right when we are all trying to MAGA!!!!!

They are just using each other. Trump will use these meetings to tout how he is the first President to address the North Korea problem and stopped fat boy from playing with his missiles and the fat boy gets attention, something he demands.
