Are there more and stronger hurricanes in the last 10 years hitting the US than, say, from 1990 to 2000.

The dry ice makes sense, but it seems like it would take more than 80 pounds of it to cause enough condensation. I doubt one dose could do it though. It would take repeat doses to keep the cycle going.
