Spent May and June in hospital, lost 50 lbs before they stabilized me, couldn't even stand up when I got out in July and was too sick to post here from May to August, but no one knew I was gone or mentioned it?
What a bunch of dicks.

A life lesson! Ours are easier to shoulder than that which the libs have to deal with, with their emotion and such as that. And offended!?!? Don't get me started. And don't sound like a dependent, you will give us a bad name. I Figure they were glad to be one logical person short.

Afterthought: I too was 'talking to the angels' as my dr said with Covid, 2/21. Still a bit foggy which is normal after long term covid. Nobody missed me either!

@AverageJoe1
Took a month to walk again after I got out, my arms and legs were like sticks, I looked like I'd been in a Japanese POW camp.
Sad thing is it was a simple bacterial infection that was cured with 10 days of an antibiotic, the gastroenterologist specialists never tested me for it when I was first admitted, and they misdiagnosed me for two months.
They finally gave up on me and put me in intensive care, and within ten minutes, a nurse figured out what was wrong with me because she smelled my scat and immediately knew I had C-diff.
Three months of C-diff left untreated for a person my age (70's) can be fatal and those genius physicians had to have a nurse tell them what was wrong with me.

@JJ-Adams

Welcome back. Glad you made it through.

Nurses are among the least appreciated, least well paid, and most important people in our modern hi-tech societies.

In one respect I really want to say: nobody missed you? What, with that winning personality?

But, it sounds like it was very serious and I’m glad you’re back up and running!

Most of us aren’t your friends. The site consistently tries to ban you and you won’t stay away. You’re a racist jerk. Why would you expect sympathy?

How the F do you 'remember' Darvlay? He hasn't played a game here in over 5 years.

Who are you?

First of all: Congratulations for making it.
Then: Yes medical doctirs are ofetn overworked and they suffer from the same problem a lot of people do: not really taking teh time to fully analyse the problem.

And: If I talk to people who were on the brink of death they often reorder the priorities of their lifes.

I wouldn't wish that on anyone, at the company I worked at, Gulton in NJ, only 20 emplyees, 2 died from C19 and two others, husband and wife, were on ventilators for 2 months. Was that your affliction, Covid? Did you get vaxxed? I got the shots and at one point I got slightly sick and the test result was 'presumptive' Covid, meaning they were not sure but whatever it was, I was better in a couple of days.
That is what is supposed to happen if you are vaxxed.
So did you get vaxxed and got that sick in spite of the shots?

You might be able to blame it on the hospital. That is where most people get it according to the CDC. You would think after a pandemic hospitals would have better decontamination procedures.
