I created a thread on the site idea forum that there should be a separate forum for US politics, just to rid us of the inane stupidity that drowns this forum.
But alas, Russ was having none of it.
Sad to see it devolve into an online version of the Gerry Springer show with the lesser-lights spewing their vitriol all over the forums. Makes me almost miss Grampy Bobby! 🤔

Further to watch when they try to change the facts of a post or the subject altogether. I am more into reactions than I am an actual subject. Last week i pointed out Michelle telling all us little people, in effect, we only need as much as necessary to live on....She has 3 mansions and is worth $70M. Look at their 'artful dodger' answers. I don't care what a person like that says, of course, but it was fun watching these little people defend her talking down to us all.
With the exception of Shav, the 4 of you that posted above are the worst culprits on this debate forum for shilling for a political party. I still check in on this site from time to time after joining circa 2006 but haven't posted in a long time.
The debates used to be pretty good with a WIDE variety of topics. Now all it is is American Dems yelling at American Rep's.

It could be fun for everyone, but some are just 'eat up' with problems and discontent and lose it sometimes. e,g, Go back a few months and read all the SHouse posts. Then, ...ahem...try some of mine.

I don't see conservatives doing that , we are more into keeping the libs at bay. We want them to leave us alone, in plain English. The dry wit and sarcasm in the threads was pure gold in those days. I am shocked to see how far the site has fallen since i last checked in during the pre-covid years. Even the number of posters seems to have fallen off a cliff.
