I don't know why I am explaining this to a know nothing like you, but they also recovered a screwdriver in that back pack that was probably used to break down the rifle. All he'd have to do is separate the stock from the barrel and the firing chamber. What I can't understand is how you grew up with zero intellectual curiosity.

I didn't see the weapon, either. Some models are made to be broken down immediately. Some models that snipers may use, for instance.
