I can't read Gavin Newsome's mind sufficiently to know how he would react to hypotheticals.

I do know that Trump campaigned against HRC on the basis she would be trigger happy and likely to get the US involved in unnecessary wars, particularly in the Middle East. Such rhetoric now seems hypocritical and ironic.
