@vivify said"The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule it."
The Supreme Court ruled gays can be discriminated against for religious reasons.
But again the motivation for the unequal laws may not be hate.
What reason is there other than hate? Christian fundamentalists, who sadly dominate U.S. politics, believe gays are an "abomination" and that their god is right for sending them to hell to be tortured for all eternity.
How is that not hate?

I posted this quote recently, it didn't sink in.
The gaymen trying to force the baker to make a cake, the god botherers trying to close abortion clinics, you with your greenie point of no return catastrophism, you're all the same, you're all religious fanatics trying to force your ideals under the guise of saving people, when really it's just plain old control freakism.
You're no better than any of them.
@vivify saidWhen the goobermint is involved with subsidies, propaganda, regulation, buratcracies.
How does any get "ruled" by promoting clean energy?
Dumbass.
Government is force
Notice how I don't need to call you names, just state the obvious, and if you're honest you'll take the point on board.
If you want to promote clean energy go for it, make sure you support it even though it costs more, even though in the case of batteries it's far from clean, even though your solar panels only work about a 1/4 of their life, you should do that, you should lead by example but you should denounce all state force as you would if they were subsidising fossil fuels.

@wajoma saidNote how in post after post you can't give any specific examples of this world domination you keep alleging, you're just spouting off vague unverifiable claims. Your inability to state something of substance that actually be verified makes you a dumbass.

@vivify saidEverything the goobermint does is backed by the threat of force.

You can't see that?
Really?
Haha, like I said, you're as fanatical about your friend big brother dear leader as the god botherers are about their majic friend in the sky.

@mott-the-hoople saidHate and fear are your two go-tos.
as demonstrated over and over again, the libs here are quick to say you hate them if you dont agree with them.
Nothing but a tool much like racism, homophobe ect
The GOP should put it in their platform (if they bothered to make one).
@wajoma saidEveryone can see your mental insufficiency all the way on the other side of the planet.

@wajoma saidNewsflash: People break laws all the time. It happens more when people are conned into believing that they have a "right" to.
Whether hate is the motivation or not is beside the point. The issue is the initiation of force and threats of force. What laws deny gays from being treated equally in the US? You may have a point in various muslim countries. But again the motivation for the unequal laws may not be hate.

@vivify saidJust maybe as the Christian fundamentalist learns of these people and how God views them,

they feel *sorry* for the gay person, and sorrow is not hate.
So you chose the reason you wanted, hate, for political purposes, of course.
