@earl-of-trumps saidChristians deny gays rights because of "sorrow" for them?
Just maybe as the Christian fundamentalist learns of these people and how God views them,
they feel *sorry* for the gay person, and sorrow is not hate.
So you chose the reason you wanted, hate, for political purposes, of course.
The Westboro Baptist Church marches with signs that say "God hates f-gs" because they feel sorry for gays.
Great logic.
@wajoma saidWith that kind of vision, you clearly would make a good Libertarian.
Everything the goobermint does is backed by the threat of force.
You can't see that?
Really?
Haha, like I said, you're as fanatical about your friend big brother dear leader as the god botherers are about their majic friend in the sky.
The *threat of force*.
If somebody uses force on a person who has *not* used force on another or their property, they are thugs.
That includes the government. In a Libertarian world, there is no such thing as victimless crimes, such as prostitution.
@vivify saidYou're using your "vague claims with no specifics" to make wild generalisations.

Talk about a hypocite.
If I were to make a generalisation about religious folk it'd be let the gaymen do their thing just keep it away from children. Nothing about hate. And if a gayman didn't want to bake them a cake they'd say "No worries."

@earl-of-trumps saidTake your pick:
You are cherry picking.
The Westboro Baptist Church is absurd.
- The Christians on the Conservative Supreme Court allowed discrimination against gays because of "sorrow" for them?
- Or Clarence Thomas, a Christian, made an open invitation to bring them a case and overturn gay marriage?
- What about the Pure Words Baptist Church in Texas whose pastor openly prayed that gays received a slow, painful death?
- Or in 2023 the U.S. set a record year for anti-LGBT bills....back in April:
https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/06/politics/anti-lgbtq-plus-state-bill-rights-dg/index.html
All because they feel "sorrow" for gays.
@vivify saidChristians have far more important things on their mind, than being concerned about whether homosexuals feel accepted or not.

@Earl-of-Trumps
You right wingers stick together that is for sure.
Suzi is WAY above that ultrarighter who is not even American but sticks his nose into our business like he has some valid input.
He doesn't.
@earl-of-trumps saidYeah I’m sure it’ll be up there in the ultra right wing corporate stooge handbook of nonsensical reposts to reality 👍

@suzianne saidSpeaking of hypocritical white Christians,
What I'm talking about is hypocritical white "Christianity".
You should attend a typical service in Mexico or Latin America.
You come in here and spread your vile and your hatred all over the place, all the time. And you call yourself a Christian?
