He is just one symptom of the tens of millions of people similarly hypnotized where they don't even realize they have been manipulated into believing Trump is the greatest POTUS EVER.
My own sister is one of those and one of our daughter's who married a republican so she fell right into it.

Trump did not normalize lying in politics. Lying in politics was normal in the time of Socrates. He lectured on it extensively, including coining a phrase "noble lie" to describe exactly what Kamala does here. She's not lying to harm people, she's lying to make a point and rhetorically embellished her feelings. There's an important and fairly obvious distinction.
Lying about your personal relationship to a holiday is very different than lying about immigrant hordes muling drugs and widespread voter fraud. The latter type of lying harms people.
