The post that was quoted here has been removedSorry are you claiming that the interviewee’s lie was innocuous?
Or just not gratuitous in that it was told in order to achieve an aim?
Because to me Kamala’s lie ( if indeed it was a lie ) is far more innocuous than the pro choice interviewee trying to lie her way into a position as Receptionist in what I presume is a pro life church for the purposes of your scenario.
If your correct in your assumption that Kamala’s Tamil mother scorned and ignored Kamala’s African American heritage wouldn’t one response of an adult Kamala be to compensate for that and maybe overstate her connection to that side of her heritage which was consciously or sub consciously downplayed during her childhood by her mother.
The post that was quoted here has been removedThen it wasn’t a very illuminating scenario was it. Why are you putting forward unrealistic examples of employers asking questions that they are not allowed to ask by law, the wannabe receptionist should have refused to answer the question and reported the church to the relevant authorities for asking discriminatory questions.
As an avid pro choice tribal member I don’t understand why this person would want to work in an anti choice environment.
This has got nothing to do with political tribalism and everything to do with common sense and real politic.
I’m not going to reiterate the innocuous nature of Kamala’s lie ( if indeed it was a lie ) compared to the hateful and damaging lies told by her counterpart in his defence of Trump because it’s already been amply highlighted.
At most this is a nothing burger based on speculation about what celebrations a child did or did not take part in.
The post that was quoted here has been removedAnother lie that you would consider "necessary" was repeated this morning. Brad Raffensperger, the Republican Secretary of State in Georgia, has voiced confidence in the legitimate outcome of the US election and saying stuff like "we haven't found any evidence of systematic fraud". For those politicians determined to overturn the certified result, he presents a problem. In order to paint him as a compromised deep state operative, his political opponents have invented a story that Brad has a brother named Ron who works for a giant Chinese company. Now that he has a brother, he has a motive. The only problem of course is that Brad doesn't really have a brother. This lie is necessary for continuing efforts to change election results. Without the fake brother, what motive does Brad have to continue defending democracy?
Compare that "necessary" lie with the "gratuitous" one Kamala told. Which one is more important? Which lies should we focus on? In one case, the lie led to millions of people believing the free and fair election was fraudulent and taking to the streets. In the other case, the lie embellished a story of a nice family gathering and discussed the virtue of self-determination.
I dunno. Is there a distinction there or am I failing to grasp it?

The post that was quoted here has been removedKamala Harris has never won a Nobel Prize in anything and she sure the chit does not have a degree in any branch of medicine..
She is a lawyer, never had anything to do with the medical field, let alone get a Nobel Prize.
And the only Peace Prize she might have ever had is the PIECE Prize she handed to Big Willie Brown in order to get ahead in California politics.
The post that was quoted here has been removed“ I await Kevcvs57 celebrating the Nobel Prizes in peace and medicine that Kamala Harris ALREADY has won.”
If that’s true then yes of course I’ll celebrate it will tell me that the Nobel panel value tellers of innocuous potential lies over the tellers of hatefully harmful lies.
I don’t understand why you have such bee in your bonnet about Kamala unless of course it has something to do with the current tensions between China and India.
@dood111 saidspare me. for years you've turned a blind eye to every trump lie or dismissed it as fake news.
But....but....in the Pence debate Kamala SWORE she and Biden would never lie to the American people.
They both have been doing nothing but telling one lie after another .
now you're suddenly concerned with elected officials being dishonest.
cry more, snowflake
@kevcvs57 saidI don't get it either, she's not even white.
