@mike69 saidDefending ego?
What a fool you are, still defending that ego. I see your true colors and intelligence shining through and now we all see you. You become if true a layer late in life so little actual experience. Here you post from copy and paste or other peoples words and act like you actually know something. I push you a little look at the clown that comes out, what an ego driven to feel superior, weak loser you are and inside you know it’s true.
Hypocrite!

You're full of crap. It was a tent over bleachers set up to keep people out of the rain; it wasn't just for team members.
Police testifying at trial said the knife was more used as a "tool" then a "weapon".
That information is in links I already provided, I notice you present nothing supporting your assertions.
Look like a "locker room" to anybody?
EDIT: Maybe it's a Texas thing, but up North we'd call that a "canopy" not a "tent".
@AverageJoe1 saidYou are confusing "having a right" to say something with "having the authority" to compel others to do what you say. Metcalf and others had a "right" to tell Anthony he should leave, but they had no authority to make him do so. Therefore, he was free to ignore their requests until and unless someone with lawful authority told him he had to leave (which never happened). And Metcalf certainly had no "right" or "authority" to shove Anthony which even the prosecutor conceded he did.
Contrare’ they indeed had authority to tell him where he could Not be, which is in their private space.
Try to follow me.
If a group is occupying a tent assigned to their team, they absolutely have the right to tell an uninvited person, “This is our team’s area. Please leave.” People ask others to leave private or restricted spaces every day. The real question is wh ...[text shortened]... easonable., he hates signs. Do you hate signs that say Members Only? I carry one around with me.
Anthony doesn't seem to have done anything objectionable but sit in an area to get out of the rain wearing the "wrong" team colors. "Witnesses agreed that Anthony seemed friendly and relaxed when he first sat down." that is up until others started hassling him. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/crime-courts/karmelo-anthony-fatal-stabbing-trial-rcna348642
Again, this is separate and distinct from whether his use of force was reasonable self-defense, but it remains true that it was Metcalf he instigated the incident.

@no1marauder saidI said like one as an example for understanding. Use your brain look at what you are defending. You are a true POS! You see the school colors and logo or names on the tents, it’s for a reason.

@no1marauder saidhave you ever been to a sporting event? you a an idiot if you think opposing teams go to the opponents dugouts, locker room, field house dressing rooms ect.

@no1marauder saidAnd you, little fella are arguing that refusing a request is not the same thing as instigating a physical confrontation.

You can wear everyone out if you want to with this, the people involved in the process from his stabbing the man in the heart all the way to throwing him in jail disagree with you. How about one more average Joe analogy.
If I walk into a private party in the host tells me to leave the house may not be entitled to beat me up, but I'm still in the wrong if I refuse to leave.
Capisce? So, we all 100% agree with AvJoe, but there is that pesky thing that that the murderer was a black person, so that...........we should take that into consideration???? Go for it. If I murder an Inuit, will my white race be a factor? It would with you, the Champion Tempest In Teapot.
You become tiresome, though these discussions can be fun, but not with random 'unsubstantiated' (to use your own word) paragraph after paragraph. A good one was your saying that the tent did not qualify as a private space because it was .....not a locker room??? I forget.
Would your answer be diff if I were carrying a knife? Maruader?

no, the opposing team doesnt go to the opponents AREA period. was asked to leave 15 times...did you miss the witness testimony?
you are defending this cold blooded killer...no BS about it.
question is...WHY?

Nope, it sure isn't.
It wasn't even a "tent" actually and I haven't read anything saying that people couldn't take shelter from the rain under it just because they were wearing the wrong team colors so I don't see how it qualifies as a "private space" either. I notice you guys don't even seem to be trying to find something saying that or are dismally failing to do so. So it's far from clear that Anthony did anything wrong by merely sitting in a bleacher that was covered by the canopy.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidI played a lot of competitive sports and it was hardly unusual to go to the other teams' side during a rain delay.

The rest is your usual BS. If you don't like the facts I am stating, link to something showing they are inaccurate. The point in question was only whether Metcalf "instigated" what happened, not whether Anthony's actions were legal self-defense (that was up to the jury).
