@no1marauder saidwas he asked to leave?
AJ: And you, little fella are arguing that refusing a request is not the same thing as instigating a physical confrontation.
Nope, it sure isn't.
It wasn't even a "tent" actually and I haven't read anything saying that people couldn't take shelter from the rain under it just because they were wearing the wrong team colors so I don't see how it qualifies as a "privat ...[text shortened]... lear that Anthony did anything wrong by merely sitting in a bleacher that was covered by the canopy.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidBy someone with authority? No. By people with none? Yes, "asked" being the operative word.
was he asked to leave?
He was physically attacked, however:
"His twin brother, Hunter Metcalf, was also at the meet and spoke to officers at the scene. He said that after his brother told Anthony he had to leave the tent because he didn't go to Memorial, the two "went back and forth and then Austin stood up and pushed the male to get him out of the tent," according to the arrest report."

@AverageJoe1 saidThe tent was on PUBLIC property. A house party is PRIVTE What a MORONIC analogy. Dumbass.
And you, little fella are arguing that refusing a request is not the same thing as instigating a physical confrontation.
You can wear everyone out if you want to with this, the people involved in the process from his stabbing the man in the heart all the way to throwing him in jail disagree with you. How about one more average Joe analogy.
If I walk into a private p ...[text shortened]... a locker room??? I forget.
Would your answer be diff if I were carrying a knife? Maruader?
@no1marauder saidso you justify murder because of a shove?

@no1marauder said'Not a private space'.......that sort of just jumps out at us.

You gonna follow up with def of private space? Your def that is, cause it sure aint that of ole Webster.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidLike Trump said of Biden, he doesn't know what he thinks. Birds of a feather.
so you justify murder because of a shove?
At least he makes it up as he goes along, Biden cannot even do that.. he couldn't make up anything. He always knew what flavor to order at the ice cream shop though.
@Mott-The-Hoople saidDid Metcalf "instigate" or not? That is the only thing we were discussing.
so you justify murder because of a shove?
I do not argue with jury decisions since they heard all the evidence and I did not (you don't follow that rule). I do note that this case seems to have a fairly decent chance of reversal on appeal though it would be helpful if I had the entire transcript of, at least, the jury selection to make a more reasoned analysis.
@AverageJoe1 saidDid you bother to look at the picture I linked to? They put up a canopy (the sides were open) over part of the bleachers in a public stadium. That hardly makes it a "private space" unless the owners of the stadium so declared it. So far, not a single one of you has offered any evidence they did.

@AverageJoe1 saidBiden has his favorite but trump has his favorite age. The files say it around 12 to 14. Biden=ice cream dump=child rapist Pedo.

@no1marauder saidPoint of order, maybe approach the bench!??!?!?

These discussions are being made without benefit of inherent knowledge or court transcript, sworn testimony, the whole banana. That is, known by all of our participants, including me. But YOU, YOU, are all into the weeds, each detail, and 'have a dream' that you will throw it all at us, who are NOT going to know those details, We are all dealing with the same facts, in other words....except for you. with your sources.
So, spare us all that.
So we know enough that Metcalf was 'minding his own business', and all of a sudden a figure appears.
We all know he has no biz there, asked to leave, Metcalf, I assume, was dumbfounded that his request was not honored, like 'what the hell', and then another what the hell when a knife (A f'n Knife?!!?)..... is dug out of a bag.
I am sure no one here carries a knife, not even the Nlands guy.
howlongyougonnakeepthisupmaraudercrockett?
Oh, you CANNOT argue with the jury decision, you were not in the room! And you do not seem to be in this one.
@no1marauder saidDamn what an idiot. Teams are assigned areas, bleachers have numbers, one side for your team, one side for opponent.

You have never played sports or even been to any games if you are this ignorant of how things work.
I tell you how things don’t work. You don’t go anywhere you want to at an event. You don’t go somewhere and threaten others by saying don’t touch me. You don’t pull out a weapon and kill them over some minuscule action.
