Damn what an idiot. Teams are assigned areas, bleachers have numbers, one side for your team, one side for opponent.

You have never played sports or even been to any games if you are this ignorant of how things work.

I tell you how things don’t work. You don’t go anywhere you want to at an event. You don’t go somewhere and threaten others by saying don’t touch me. You don’t pull out a weapon and kill them over some minuscule action.
😆 😆 😆

Point of order, maybe approach the bench!??!?!?
These discussions are being made without benefit of inherent knowledge or court transcript, sworn testimony, the whole banana. That is, known by all of our participants, including me. But YOU, YOU, are all into the weeds, each detail, and 'have a dream' that you will throw it all at us, who are NOT going to know tho ...[text shortened]... NOT argue with the jury decision, you were not in the room! And you do not seem to be in this one.
People shouldn't be "dumbfounded" that other people don't do what they tell them to do esp. when they have no authority to order them to do anything.

The case is a tragedy for two promising teens both of whom made very bad decisions probably prompted by excessive "machismo".

It was a track meet with numerous teams, you bloody fool. And I showed you the picture you won't look at; it's a small canopy set up over a tiny part of the bleachers in a STADIUM.

I could give you a link to the national championship Men's Modified Fast Pitch Softball team I was on if you want. We had rain delays aplenty and no one from either team freaked out if one or more of the players went over to the other side to chat or just get out of the rain. Guess we were a bit more mature than Metcalf.

Saying "don't touch me" is a "threat"? News to me.

EDIT: It's here in 1996, Major Division. https://www.softballhistoryusa.com/asa-mens-10-man-modified/

The bar was named after the owner's dog. Mark Hotaling, the MVP, was one of 3 brothers on the team.

Honesty compels me to say I was mostly a coach on that team.

"BOTH" of whom!??!!?!?!?!? Another despicable comment.
Two separate people, two separate everything. Take culture....I bet that not ONE of the guys that were ( appropriately) under your Not-tent was carrying (is that the proper word, (I am not familiar with that cuture)...was carrying a KNIFE.

Jesus , you just dig deeper holes. Dare you associate a knife-wielding slime with this wonderful Austin.

GFY.

You aren't familiar with almost anything but your bigoted hate. IF "wonderful Austin" had minded his own FB and/or kept his hands to himself none of this would have happened.

And not to excuse Anthony's actions, but this "slime" as you called him was working two jobs, had a 3.7 GPA and was the captain of his track team. He had no criminal record prior to this; heck even a Texas judge allowed him to be under house arrest while facing these charges.

Lots of people carry knives, some carry guns. Do you have a problem with that?

This one has the victim having made bad decisions. Struggling for straws, hopeless. Do your revered court transcripts get into his bad decisions? What were they, pray tell?
If some one came into your living room while you are playing chess with your gchildren, would you ask him to leave? Then what? Tell us when you would start with 'bad decisions'? You cannot get around my common sense, you are devoid of it.

so you justify murder because of a shove?
Reminds me of the Kyle Rittenhouse situation when you put it like that.

It wasn't Metcalf's "living room" or any area he had legitimate authority over so your analogy, like almost all your analogies, is stupid.

It was a bad decision to bother Anthony who was sitting there minding his own business. As already shown:

" "Witnesses agreed that Anthony seemed friendly and relaxed when he first sat down." that is up until others started hassling him. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/crime-courts/karmelo-anthony-fatal-stabbing-trial-rcna348642

It was a worse decision to physically attack Anthony just for not doing what Metcalf told him to do. It was the act of a bully who thought his 50 lb weight advantage entitled him to physically manhandle a smaller kid.

Anyone with a shred of "common sense" would admit both. Absent either, we don't have a kid with a lot of promise dead and a kid with a lot of promise probably going to prison for decades.

Analogies are hard for you, they are less hard for Suzianne.
Answer is in the first sentence....It WAS your living room, and you had authority over it.
Anthony, like me in your living room, knew to NOT sit down, no matter what his .business was. He was sitting where he did not belong. So you actually shift it around, 'it was a bad decision for Austin to BOTHER Anthony!!", who should not have been there. Am I right so far?
(This would be moment you hassle me in YOUR living room, but I digress). (I sure hope you don't out weigh me)

Sorry that Metcalf was 50 lbs up on him. That should mitigate the circumstances, especially when dovetailed in with skin color exceptions! One more tidbit, and Anthony goes free!!!!

The element of 'Promise" ???????? Wow, hadn't figured that element into the scenario. You are a real trip. I have about fogotten the topic.

Nope there hasn't been any showing that Anthony A) Knew he wasn't allowed to sit there ("Witnesses agreed that Anthony seemed friendly and relaxed when he first sat down."😉 OR B) He actually wasn't allowed to sit there. So you're just making s**t up like you usually do.

And you haven't addressed, because you can't, the simple fact that Metcalf had no authority to order Anthony to do anything and then physically attack him because he didn't do as he was told. If Metcalf and others really thought Anthony wasn't allowed there, they should have gotten a security guard or a coach or someone in authority. Because Metcalf wanted to play bully vigilante the situation tragically escalated.

So you can stop making idiotic claims like this open air canopy set up in a public stadium was "just like" Metcalf's living room. Even for you, that's dumb.

Book keeper on a grown man’s softball team, about what I figured.

I played softball till I was 35 yrs old. Pitcher except for last two yrs, first base those two. No coaches for any of the teams, nothing to coach.

I played on church league teams where in tournaments that went into the morning, most times the most sober team would win

You guys must have sucked not to have coaches. Never saw any team in the literally dozens of tournaments I played or coached in that didn't including the Great Ice Tournament in Minnesota.

I was older than that in 1996 but was still active on at least two other teams. That one was just the best.

EDIT: Maybe you just played Slow Pitch. In Modified Fast Pitch, there was bunting and stealing meaning you definitely needed coaches.

Yes but you're a well known liar. It was a tent over some bleachers and people were mingling there. Anthony graduated with a 3.7 GPA; some "troublemaker".
Here you can see one of the fake gang signs and AK picture at the start, am I still lying? Life has a way of giving people just what they deserve, hate that karma clown boy.

LMFAO!!!!!

Why did I know that the only "evidence" you would come up with was some ridiculous You Tube by a complete nobody (and an admitted felon with 10 years of prison time)?

Please don't waste everybody's time with such BS. Find me a reputable source basing their info on facts presented at trial or at least in court proceedings, Heck, I'll even look at stuff from Fox News.

EDIT: No wonder your link hid and edited the photo, here's the full one:
