Hello. Here is something to ponder. I’ve heard it may have been raining and he was trying to get out of the rain, whatever. Sunhouse would have stuck his head and it said “do you mind if I come in out of the rain I’m getting wet.” They might say “ sorry man, we are discussing strategy against you other teams. But there are several other tents around.” . Sunhouse would say OK I’ll go try to find another tent. Or he would pull his opened pocket knife, long enough to go all the way through to the bone.
That’s what SHouse wud have done. Or if he’d in any way endeared himself to Austin and teammates, they might have said no problem. Come on in What heat are you running in?

Let's "make up s**t as we go along". There was no testimony indicating there was any team discussion of strategy before Metcalf confronted Anthony.

You ignored this from a few pages ago, so I'll repeat it:

Actually I said a security guard, coach or someone in authority. Why exactly is that "weak"? If Metcalf had, the whole incident would have been avoided, he'd be alive and Anthony wouldn't be going to prison. Maybe that person would have told Anthony he had to leave, maybe he would have told Metcalf to chill out "he's just getting out of the rain" but there would have been no physical confrontation.

I go to beautiful Great American Ballpark, saunter up to my beloved seat in the outfield and find someone sitting there. I say "Excuse me sir/madam, you are sitting in my seat" showing them my ticket. They ignore me or just say "I'm not moving".

Should I:

A) Engage in a four minute argument with them, eventually grabbing and shoving them? OR

B) Go get a security guard?

Authority is the issue with us, it seems. Well, at the stadium security guards are employed for the purpose of enforcing seating rules. The cop would have clear authority to remove them. An ordinary fan does not have such authority. Of course the boys had no authority to eject Carmela. And they had no duty to enforce the rule merely because the guy was present .We agree, so yes, they had a right to ignore him, notifying an adult or seek some officials. They would not normally get into physical contact. So the lack of authority cut both ways… Carmela had no right to stay if he was lawfully excluded. On the other hand the others had no right to physically move him. So we can agree on all of that.
So I have answered to the satisfaction of both us as to authority.
Please continue your query, I dont want to get ahead of you. But I just can't get back to the same discussion.. of this guy who walks in with an OPEN pocket knife in his bag, and being rebuffed, said this:
