Originally posted by no1marauderDon't be ridiculous. Are you trying to rewrite history like some second hand revanchist reactionary ? Next thing is that you are going to claim that the policy of detente was an American invention thought out by Mr. Nixon. I bet you never heard of Willy Brandt, right genius ?
Please give the date of the battle where the VC and NVA inflicted an outright military defeat on the US army causing it to retreat from South Vietnam. Lunatics often find things humorous that others don't; perhaps you need a psychological evaluation.
Did you ever hear of the policy of detente followed by Nixon? Are you really so pathetically ignorant of history?
EDIT: Anyway, you're again doing a good job of leading the debate into swamps of nitpicking off topic babblings, accompanied by the usual insults and personal attacks.
Originally posted by boarmanThere was nothing "magical" about the bullet that struck President Kennedy and Governor Connally. It travelled in a straight line from Oswald's perch in the Texas Book Depository, struck Kennedy in the throat, went through him, tumbled (a common occurrence after a bullet from a rifle goes through an object) hit Conally in the back causing a bullet shaped wound and then went through him and hit his wrist. I recently saw a show on the Discovery Channel exactly reconstructing the shot using the same type rifle with targets at the exact distance and height as the victims. The result was virtually identical including the flattening at the front of the "pristine" bullet. I'll see if I can find a link to it.
Can someone then explain the magic bullet .
Here's a general link http://mcadams.posc.mu.edu/sbt.htm
EDIT: The name of the program aired in the Discovery Channel's Unsolved History series was "JFK: Beyond the Magic Bullet". You can spend 10 bucks and be educated http://shopping.discovery.com/product-56798.html
or wait until November when I'm sure it will be aired again.

There was further forensic proof offered in 1979 to attempt to prove that it was a single bullet that wounded both Kennedy and Connally;however for every forensic scientist sceptical of multiple bullet theories there seems to be at least one opposite and equal scientist supportive of them .
It is not clear who Oswald was working with but there is a mass of evidence to show he was not working alone .

Originally posted by boarmanWhy bother to ask for an explanation and then simply ignore the forsenic recreations which prove beyond any reasonable doubt that there was absolutely nothing "magical" about the bullet at all? A bullet fired from a high powered rifle can easily pass through two human beings, particulary when it does not strike a bone (which this one didn't until Governor Connally's wrist). Most of the early speculation was based on an the incorrect belief that the two men were sitting at the same height and that Kennedy was directly behind Connally, both of which are plainly wrong as even a cursory review of the films and facts show. To conspiracy theorists, facts just don't matter.
If thats what you believe.

I am also not claiming to be a conspirithist.
Reading into the facts presented its simply not as easily dismissed as you say ,Oswald certainly had help ,who i am uncertain but there is people out there that would know.
