Preelection concerns that President Joe Biden wasn’t physically or mentally up for his new job at age 78, the oldest-ever chief executive, are now settling in as the public sees him slow-walking, refusing to consider questions at press conferences, and seemingly befuddled with the crisis in Afghanistan.
Not only has his average approval rating fallen below 50%, the lowest of his presidency, but a new survey has found that in addition to likely voters believing that Biden is not all there, they believe that aides are doing his job.

Looks like most people are coming around to what Conservatives in this forum have been saying all along.
@eladar saidA poll by Rasmussen Reports is hardly reliable; it uses poor methodology and is consistently about 10 points off to the right from the consensus of other polls. It almost always says "conservatives are right".

Biden's tough but necessary call on Afghanistan will probably hurt him a bit in the short run but once the Congress passes his popular domestic agenda expect him to bounce back.
@no1marauder saidEveryone, based on this post, scratch Rasmussen from your list of trusted polls.

Secondly will Congress pass this 'popular' ( I love that one, Marauder, but glad I didnt see it at breakfast)domestic agenda? The one where free stuff comes ;pouring out of the sky. It gives Marauder goosebumps.
@eladar saidI was thinking the same thing, except that I am one of the few here who knows from whence he speaks, so I am not surprised.
@no1marauder
If you had any credibility, you just lost it.
@eladar saidAnybody who relies on Rasmussen for polling data, has zero credibility. https://thehill.com/hilltv/what-americas-thinking/405965-pollster-rasmussen-research-has-a-pro-gop-bias

@averagejoe1 saidMake up your mind, Joe; in other threads you're complaining about how the rich and corporations are going to have to pay more taxes under Biden's plan, now you're saying "free stuff comes ;pouring out of the sky". No, the programs that will improve the lives of the People and build a more secure and productive social infrastructure won't be free - they will be paid for by reversing 40 years of tax cuts and increased loopholes that benefit the wealthy.

@no1marauder saidIt is more 2 statements rather than one complaint. Yes, #1, Under Biden the rich and corporations are going to have to pay more taxes. #2 Under Biden free stuff comes pouring out of the sky. Both are true, so I do not get what you mean. Just facts. Geez.

You are right, though, that giving free stuff to people will improve their lives. They won't have to work, for one thing... cool.
You say (Building ) a more secure and productive infrastructure won't be free. Right. It has to be paid for. But Marauder, the improvement WILL be free to "The People" as they drive along to go play in the park.
Tell us now how long free stuff will last, .... a year?,,,20 years? How long will rich people last? And are you really saying that giving free stuff to 'The People' will make their lives improved?
@averagejoe1 saidWhat part of this is "free stuff" that you oppose?:

To show how lousy Rasmussen's methodology is, they don't even call cell phones:
"But Rasmussen stands alone among frequent pollsters in finding such a high rating for Trump, and its findings are often seen as less reliable because of the automated calling method it uses. It’s against federal law to have computers dial cellphones, so a big chunk of U.S. adults who don’t have landline phones — many of them young people — cannot be reached using the survey’s phone interviews."
https://apnews.com/article/north-america-donald-trump-ap-top-news-barack-obama-politics-59ef870461a8417daf4ffc71dc331d4c
Most people don't even have landlines anymore:
"Most US homes no longer use landline phone service and instead rely on cellphones to stay connected. The finding was released today by the US Health Department, which said that 50.8 percent of American households were now wireless only when it came to phone service.
Of the remaining chunk of households, 39.4 percent had both a wireless phone and a landline. Only 6.5 percent of homes are landline only, while 3.2 percent remain phone-free."
https://www.theverge.com/2017/5/4/15544596/american-households-now-use-cellphones-more-than-landlines
And that skews the polls away from Democratic leaning demographics:
"The government’s survey found that more than 70 percent of adults between 25 and 34 were wireless only."
So any Rasmussen results should be viewed with more than a grain of salt.
