She got 70% of the votes in her district. Since the election though, the coverage of her in Georgia media has been pretty brutal. People are embarrassed. I think there were lots of voters who did not realize how crazy she was, and voted for her because she passionately embraced all things Trump. Her insane rhetoric was covered in the national news, but not so much on the channels watched by her supporters. Now, very few in Georgia are supporting her publicly. I think maybe they now realize she's long on theatrics and short on substance.

How bizarre is that? An elected official stating that a national trauma the whole world watched happening live... actually happened?
She should have been dragged from that chamber and given meds.

Then she says that the media and Qanon are just as guilty...
And gets a standing ovation by republicans.

The GOP is screwed. They’ve went down a rabbit hole and they ain’t comin’ up anytime soon!

Colluding with a foreign government to give yourself a possible advantage over a electoral opponent is not ‘fixing’ the election it just is what it is and I for one am still absolutely certain that he did just that.
BUT I don’t remember any democrats.claiming that Trump didn’t win the election, I do not remember Clinton refusing to concede the election. There is a big difference between challenging a sitting president for his alleged misdeeds during his election campaign and trying to actively overthrow the democratic will of the people.
That’s what Trump and a big corrupt chunk of the Republican Party did.

Nonetheless, she was elected and it seems inappropriate to punish her for public comments made BEFORE the election. That's true, of course, but generally committee assignments are left to the party leader in the House. In this case, he declined to strip Greene of her assignments. Precedents don't seem to mean much anymore, but surely this one may make likely similar measures when there is a Republican majority and for far less than what Greene said.
