Was led by AOC, who conveniently disappeared before the Capitol police showed up and arrested 51 people.
No, not the Jan 6 crowd, the 2018 demonstration where AOC led 200 people to take over Pelosi's office, after which Pelosi said she supported their right to protest and do it.
Remember when that happened?
@dood111 saidHow many Capitol Police were killed and injured during that demonstration?

Pelosi probably welcomed those protesters since, unlike Trump supporters on January 6th, they weren't there to try to kill her and others members of Congress.

@dood111 saidNo I don’t actually, perhaps a non violent symbolic occupation isn’t as news worthy as an attempted fascist coup facilitated and supported by an outgoing president as part of his ongoing campaign to seize power from the hands of the people. 🤷🏻

Anyway we've already had a fascist coup, it happened when the democrats stole the election through voter fraud.
@dood111 saidIf you say so Obergruppenführer. Heil Trump.

@dood111 saidThe election wound up pretty similar to what polls had been telling you for months - actually a little better for Trump than expected.

And apparently the Democrats forgot to "steal" the House of Representatives and State legislature races which were disappointments for them (though they still won a majority of the former).

@kevcvs57 saidEasy Kev.... Bear in mind you are a member of a party who burns things and livelihoods down when you protest or demonstrate. Kev, .............we don’t do that.

@averagejoe1 saidMaybe you're ignorant of the expressed intentions of some of those arrested due to their activities on January 6th. If so, such ignorance is deliberate.

There are many more sources detailing these facts. You could read them if you are interested in the truth, which you obviously are not.
@averagejoe1 saidNo no I’m definitely not a member of the party I’m sure your thinking of joe they are nothing like left wing enough for my tastes. As if to prove my point Biden is back-pedalling on the $15 minimum wage even though ( unless he’s aware of Dem dissenters ) he could pass it without any Republican support.

No joe you really wouldn’t want the sort of party that I’d join getting hold of all three power levers in Washington, but if I was living in the US the Dems and Biden would still be my best / least worst option.

the democrats stole the election through voter fraud.
You certainly have proof for that statement.
And a story why all those who claim this never managed to get a law case that judges (appointed by Republicans and some by Trump himself) found acceptable. (and no facebook links to somebody who has heard or who claims "everybody nows" is not acceptable)
Lets hear the proof for your "truth". Or admit that you lied.

@kevcvs57 saidIt's doubtful that Democrats alone can pass a $15 minimum wage using reconciliation. First, it seems likely that the Senate parliamentarian will rule that it does not fall within the measures allowable under that procedure. Second, a parliamentarian's ruling can be overturned by a supermajority(not politically possible) or maybe by a contrary decision by the head of the Senate, the latter has never been used. Third, at least one Democrat, Joe Manchin, has stated he will not support an increase that high.

I think a decision to leave the $15 minimum wage out of the pandemic rescue plan is a wise move IF the Biden administration wants a package passed quickly, which it surely does.

@no1marauder saidMin wage in Arizona is $12.15 but most places pay 14-15 dollars an hour right now, I don't see the big deal.
