Pelosi probably welcomed those protesters since, unlike Trump supporters on January 6th, they weren't there to try to kill her and others members of Congress.

And apparently the Democrats forgot to "steal" the House of Representatives and State legislature races which were disappointments for them (though they still won a majority of the former).

Third, at least one Democrat, Joe Manchin, has stated he will not support an increase that high.

I think a decision to leave the $15 minimum wage out of the pandemic rescue plan is a wise move IF the Biden administration wants a package passed quickly, which it surely does.
