It's not like that at all. Guns don't wake up hungry and go looking for food. Lions do.

Well duh..... You know that one party is dedicated and has been to destroying your business. Does it make sense that you'ld just let it happen?

How will we arm a military, if we kill gun manufacturing? Buy then from Germany? Russia? Chinna?

The kids selling popcorn at the theaters should pack heat. That would help at the theaters.

Especially when it sticks out like a sore thumb that all of these shooters have those issues, most if not all going on their rampage after going off their meds. How come so many kids are on drugs?

You never kicked the Redcoats out, the French naval blockade of Yorktown did, but hey keep living the dream.

when a modern day army moves in the militia take their side arms and head for the hills, or they die.

Where do you get the NRA opposes background checks?

About 75% of Americans don't have any idea of what an assault rifle is. You are probably among them.

Guns can't be sold over the internet without shipping them to a licensed dealer.

"Only five percent of Americans oppose banning gun ownership for convicted violent felons. Naturally, the NRA sits with that five percent fringe. Heck, they're even okay with potential terrorists buying and owning guns!"

This one is a blatant lie, and puts you in the wacko fringe.

Considering about half of Americans don't own guns or know anything about them, it is a surprise the attitude isn't more in number. I wonder why cops carry magazines bigger than ten? Why do soldiers?

"As for the NRA, it is a domestic terror network with terrorist cells operating all across the country. They should be classified as such and prosecuted as such."

Again this puts you in the wacko fringe. We should be worried about you stealing a gun and going on a rampage.

We kicked em out. The French arriving at Yorktown just made Cornwallis' retreat impossible and embarrassing. He'd been already soundly beaten. And to a large measure by militia.

Your right but the modern army that follows the militia to the hills will also sustain unsustainable casualties, as expressed by Yamamoto. And as we learned in Vietnam, and are learning in Afghanistan.

The 1994 ban listed the semi-automatic AR-15 as an assault rifle.

Gun nuts have an unduly and incorrect narrow definition of assault rifle. Look up "assault rifle" in the dictionary.

BS much, Washington and His merry men spent most of the War stumbling about in the dark trying to avoid the Redcoats.

Without the French your asses were kicked, might wanna think about that the next time your munching 'victory fries' with yer McD.

Ask someone in the military. Where is the Paratrooper when we need him?

The '94 ban listed guns by the way they looked, not by functional differences.

I will give you four guns. You tell me if they are assault rifles. Saiga (Russian) 7.62x39mm, sold with 5 round magazine. Ruger (American) Mini14, .223 cal, sold with 5 round magazine. Enfield (British) 303 cal. 10 round magazine, Mauser Spanish 308 cal, 5 round magazine.

The early war went poorly for the colonists. But Cornwallis was beaten by Yorktown.
