I agree with you that race should not be a thing -- it should not be a basis to exclude an individual and it should not be a basis to prefer an individual.
This is no a fringe issue. The democrats have mandated that the VP be female -- I have no problem if they pick a female because that is their best candidate but I do have a problem with excluding everyone from a group ...[text shortened]... for job and colleges gives huge preference to members of certain group over members of other groups.
News flash: Democrats don't care about the opinions of those who believe American workers should get paid at the same level as those in Cambodia because that would yield the most profits to the elite you grovel before.

More leftist racism - III

Listen to the charming racist, Chicago mayor, Lori Lightfoot call white house
spokesperson a racial slur.

At a press briefing on Thursday Ms McEnany branded Mayor Lightfoot “the derelict mayor of Chicago” when answering a question on police brutality.

“Hey, Karen. Watch your mouth,” Mayor Lightfoot tweeted in response.

“Karen” is a slang word that has come to represent an entitled white woman, who exploits their own privilege.

A source close to Mayor Lightfoot confirmed to The Chicago Sun-Times that she used “Karen” in that context.

====================

But Chicago Mayor, Lightfoot, is a charming racist and bigot! She skates.

What part of "white woman" do you not understand?

You still don't understand what the word "racist" means.

I get it you don't like that a free market global economy means that sometimes unskilled labor gets paid less. But how, even if your warped mind, is that a defense for systematically excluding males from being considered for Vice President?

There is no such thing as a "free market global economy"; what people get paid is based on power and how that power is allocated is based on political decisions. That US workers get paid more than Cambodian ones is based on their bargaining position although that bargaining position has been severely reduced by elite friendly political decisions in the US over the last 40 years.

There are probably literally millions of people in the US who could do the job of Vice-President. There is no entitlement to be considered for the position because of something as trivial as that you are male IF the person deciding who gets picked thinks that it will help his chances of getting elected to pick a woman or a POC or someone from Wisconsin or any other of literally dozens of variables. Biden thinks it would be a good thing to balance his ticket by sex; in the past, candidates often thought it was a good idea to balance it by geography (the Constitution "discriminates" by not allowing the VP to be from the same State as the President).

So what? Biden thinks that picking a woman as VP is a good political move; the idea that it is some type of offensive "discrimination" is ludicrous.

Listen to the lawyer trying to slip out of it.

Ahhh, yo honna... the plaintiff does not know what "racism" is.

Yeah. ,right. The racist sexist slur, "a Karen", is specifically designed to slur white women.

Not BLACK women, WHITE women only. It's a slur that is meant for a specific RACE.
Get off the pot, No1.

People get paid what supply and demand allows. The free market economy has shown that US workers are overpaid because many workers in other country will do the same job for less. You personally love to interfere with the free market and pick favorites but the free market has clearly shown that unskilled labor is both overpaid and less value as technology can safely and more efficiently do their jobs.
If you had a problem with racism you would simply make it illegal. Instead you advocate it -- it is always to exclude base a hiring decision on race and gender. But if it gets a women as VP -- you'd exclude all men -- even ones who were excellent candidates and large groups of Democrats otherwise support.
You have only one principle -- always help the group you want even if it means excluding or giving huge preference based on race and gender for jobs or colleges. Your position is intolerable and sane people should laugh at you.

If you think sane people are laughing at the idea that workers in the US should get paid more and that there is systemic racism in this country that limits the opportunities for members of certain minority groups, I would suggest you stop polling the other people at the mental institution you reside in.

Most of us who got past the first day in ECO 101 know that simplistic models of supply and demand don't work in the real world in the impartial, "natural" way laissez faire worshippers think. Your proposals to further impoverish the American working class would be certain to collapse the economy which is based on consumer demand, not shovelling more money to global elites.

No, you really don't know what "racist" or "racism" is.

This one note pity party which has its theme that whites are terribly disadvantaged by "discrimination" in the US is borderline crazy when one looks at economic and social reality in the US. But this type of race baiting argument seems the last hope that right wingers are clinging to as an electoral strategy - though there is always voter suppression as a fall back.

Here's some interesting charts that show that blacks at the same level of educational achievement make less than whites in the US, up to 30% less at some levels:

https://nces.ed.gov/programs/raceindicators/indicator_RFD.asp

That is for full-time, year-round workers ages 25–34.

We don't have anything close to a free market in this country and we simply don't have to continually add more and more benefits to those who contribute the least to our society. The unskilled masses with their cable TV, I-phones and $100 sneakers are doing just fine, so let's stop worrying about them --certainly we don't need your style of explicit discrimination.

Prove discrimination in a court of law or shut your stupid mouth. The amount people make depend on a lot of things -- all schools aren't equal -- all people don't work the same amount -- some people trade off income for different kinds of job satisfaction etc. Assuming discrimination without proving it is as stupid as assuming certain racial groups are inferior or superior.

What you know about the economic conditions of American workers is absolutely zero. The idea that people doing most of the actual work in this country "contribute the least to our society" is typically elitist swill.
