When will the Bush Administration learn? Their arrogance simply knows no bounds. This is one of those stories the Bush admin won't confirm or deny. Which means it will soon be biting them all over their @ss. By constantly giving vague answers to everything they simply increase the media's scrutiny. What a bunch of dumb@sses.

i could care less where the hold captured al Qaeda; they should be in a local that keeps them away from the attention of other al Qaeda who may want to try and free them. People like you like to find whatever you can to bash america with, instead of using your brain to think for yourself. Or maybe you are just incapable of thinking about anything in an un-ideological way.

Newdad you haven't grasped a single point yet. And people like me find fault with the actions of our government despite our political leanings. I happen to be part of America, and I have never found fault with her. Only the actions of our politicians.

Unlike you, I am not one of the "sheeple" of this country that simply go along with whatever nonsense our politicians spout. I despise people that wrap themselves in the flag to justify their criminal intentions. I despise people that do the same with the bible.

What the Bush administration/CIA is doing with this network of secret prisons is shameful and humiliating to the US. These tactics are straight out of the KGB handbook for god's sake. How can you NOT be embarrased by this latest debacle. When will it end? And how on earth can you defend it?

What's your problem, wib?

Aren't Al Queda so bad that, even if you get *suspected* of being connected to them on the basis of intelligence of questionable provenance, you deserve to be incarcerated indefinitely and tortured intermittently by unaccountable captors behind closed doors without the possibility legal redress?

Surely, anything else would intolerably un-American?

How about treat them as you would anyone else ie TRY THEM IN COURT?!?

You know, just to at least remove some of the confusion over if they are/aren't Al Q'aida, instead of just blindly following every word spoon fed to you by the hawks in your government?

How's that for a start?

Maybe then you could try to sort out that godawful mess you made in Iraq...

If anybody else did it, it would be kidnapping. When the u.s. do it, its fighting for freedom.

putting them in front of a military tribunal is fine by me, but in the mean time i'm not going to lose any sleep over this. these people are murdering civilians, blowing up innocent people, and you are worried that they are being held in secret? Give me a break you bleeding heart libs. Do you have any idea how more dangerous the world would be if people like you were in charge.

oh yeah right. that is your uniformed opinion. Give the benefit of the doubt to the terrorists. These people were caught fighting and killing.

So you'd be quiet happy to be taken away indefinitely to a secret location where your human rights would be continually violated, purely due to the fact that your profile is suspicious?
