The post that was quoted here has been removedI do wish that posters would not be personal,,,,which prompts a personal response which is uncomfortable. All personal comments on this debate forum are irrelevant, I cannot see how they would be germane.
If Mott says he is a doctor, Shouse's friends would holler 'Rich!', which would be irrelevant. If I have a lake house, what would that have to do with anyone else?
Geez
@sonhouse said'...which is illegal'
POLICE? Are you frigging kidding? Trump sent both national guard AND marines IN AMERICAN CITIES which is illegal.
You may want to mewl and howl but the courts will stop it.
Trump WANT'S violence and the crowds know it and they are totally peaceful now, no more burned cars.
Trump HATES that and I would not be at all surprised he has his henchmen come in and set fires just to make it LOOK like the protesters did it.
'courts will stop it'
' Trump wants violence'
'crowds know it'
Sources, please.
@AverageJoe1 saidHere, let me re-write it: 😆
If a person sets fire to my barn, I will call the law and ask them to threaten the guy with the torch.
Is this too much logic? I can re-write it. 😆
O0000hhh, Sue
“I, @AverageJoe1, voted for a traitor to overthrow US democracy, so a guy burned down my barn.”
A start, I would say. No police needed.
But full justice would demand that you be exiled, declared dead, and all your assets seized by the state.
Just losing a barn? For what you did?! You got off SUPER EASY! That’s almost a miscarriage right there. Smh 😆

" A carrot is to a vegetable as a banana is to a fruit'.
A burned barn is to a farmer as a burned building is to a city.
Jesus, man.
@AverageJoe1 saidWait a minute… You sound like Joe Biden right there.

@AverageJoe1
While I have you, do people like Marauder, Shav, or you for that matter, ever use the word 'illegal' in your posts? Show us.

This may have been one of my best analogies, and you brush me off like a cinder on your shoe!!! as my granny used to say
@AverageJoe1 saidThey use it all the time but only when referring to police/military/Trump.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidBy the order of the Governor.
Really?
1965 Watts Riots 14,000 National Guard were called up and sent to LA to take back control of the streets.
It was legal then and it's legal now.
See the apple, see the orange.
@AverageJoe1 saidAs usual, your analogies suck. same as you suck on dump's member.

By the order of the Governor.
See the apple, see the orange.
Lyndon Johnson sent troops into Detroit to quell riots in 1967.
NOBODY complained about it then or said it was illegal use of presidential authority.
Sounds like apples and apples to me.

The desegregation examples were where local and State officials were openly preventing federal law from being enforced meeting the requirements of the law I already cited to.
In the Detroit case, due to immense scale of violence and destruction, President Johnson invoked the Insurrection Act. Trump hasn't and the situation in LA doesn't approach the conditions necessary to do so.
@no1marauder saidOhhhh....so when the local/state officials in California refused to prevent criminal activity in Los Angeles, Trump was being a tyrant when he enforced legal requirements of the immigration laws.

Got it ...Trump...BAD.....
When LBJ invoked the Insurrection Act for the Detroit riots, it was right and proper....but when Trump did it....it was BAD..
I Got It. I see exactly where you are coming from.
Do you?
