The US govt. spends more per annum on Veterans' Disability pension ($57 billion), than it spends on all education ($54.4 billion)!

I am not decrying the amount of money spent on veterans who have fought for their country. I just find it amazingly sad that the US spends more on them than they do on the future generations.

It seems to me that this is caused by 2 things:

1. Shrub cutting spending on education - he should spend a few dollars on himself and learn how to read a book the correct way up!

2. The US being war-mongerers (except when there is a just cause to fight for like WW2, when they would rather sit on the side-lines and make money from both sides!)
