Is this why they need balloons and UFOs being shot down, to distract us from the Seymour Hersh bombshell? People say it was an act of war and why is Germany not furious? That was their pipeline as much as it was Russia's and now they will have to spend much more to import natural gas. The USA screwed over Germany and they just took up the butt. No sovereign nation would take it up the butt like that without complaint.

I wouldn't be surprised if it really was a sabatoge by the Americans.
You eliminate Germany's ability to get fuel from Russia so Germany has nothing in the way of helping the war effort.
Russia can't hold it (the pipeline) against Germany anymore.
I haven't heard anything about it since the explosions, so I don't know if they are back to getting fuel from the Russians...

The pipeline was dormant and fixed in weeks so a shot across NATO’s energy bow at little or no cost to Putin. This is what the grown ups know.
