Huh? How is avoiding unwanted pregnancies a waste of money?
Looks to me like the previous way involved pretending there's no such thing as abortion.

Not really. Abortion => less unwanted kids => population boom slows => more food, water, land, energy to go around => less violence.

Great idea. Now we can give even more money away.

Whether we end up giving more money or not, it's still important to be realistic about family planning.

If you guys want to save then maybe we can at least quit giving money to abstinence-only BS programs.

Compared to top contributors the US spends a relatively small fraction of GDP on foreign aid.

Why it has worked great in the US, the most violent nation on earth, why not for the rest of the world?......

Other myths on the left include global warming and spending our way out of a credit crisis. God only knows whats next!!

Actually, the most violent nations are found in Africa and South America. Legalizing abortion does reduce violence, which is a necessary consequence of the fact that children who are unwanted tend to have less ideal upbringings.
