Sad you think that backing the blue is a problem. Sad indeed.
I've always liked that time worn phrase, about people like you, who constantly tear down the police,,,,,,,,,and then when trouble hits, their first phone call is to the police, to come and help them. They ask the police to help them.
Would you tell the police, after they help you, to get the Hel away from you.

What WOULD you say?
You've completely misrepresented my comments. I have never torn down the police. Please avoid convoluting critique with "constantly tear down". We agree this policy is unconstitutional hogwash but because the police did it we have to support them in their efforts to pre-criminalize US citizens? I reject that notion.

One can support police officers and also ask for change when problems exist at the local level and/or system-wide failures.

The article only gives CLAIMS made by individuals. It should be easy to show an actual event if it is so problematic.

This is the way the state run lib media operates. The put a lot of ANONYMOUS he said she said out there.

Lets see an actual encounter. I imagine a lot of thugs are upset
The Sheriff's Office doesn't even deny it and the letter speaks for itself.

Are the names of the plaintiffs on the lawsuits "anonymous"?

I think the agreement was that it is unconstitutional for police to enter and arrest without a warrant. I agree with that too.

BUT

There is no evidence to prove this happened. You are lying when you promote this.

looked up you article…you lie

the police are only warning problem individuals with “enhanced scrutiny”.

I agree with this 100%…meanwhile blacks are dying by thd truck load in dem run cities
What am I lying about? Its all in the article. There has been a lot of investigative reporting on this. They used grades, attendance and abuse history of schoolchildren to generate a list of people who are more likely to commit crimes and then targeted them with increased surveillance of their lives. You're ok with that?

@wildgrass said
Sheriff’s Office creates lists of people it considers likely to break the law based on criminal histories, social networks and other unspecified intelligence. The agency sends deputies to their homes repeatedly, often without a search warrant or probable cause for an arrest.

===Does anyone remember the movie Minority Report?===

Read the book. All the short stories in that book have been made into movies and the stories are all excellent. It's like a Black Mirror book.

Here's criticism from a conservative-leaning publication, which might be more up your alley. No one should be ok with what these police officers have been doing.

"Seemingly noble... but has gone far beyond reasonable."

I'd tell them to do their job properly or find another one.
Is everyone getting this? Your dad is a cop in Chicago, and a liberal who wants socialism (Marauder) is getting beat up, your dad risks his life.......you get my drift.
Marauder demeans the man and talks down to him. He goes home with his head hanging. Are y’all getting this?
This is why i dont mind a bit of my own demeaning of you libs with these nasty despicable thoughts. This one is beyond the pale. Sickening Marauder. Sickening.

Thankfully we will watch you marxists all lose in Nov 2022. I happen to know something that guarantees both houses to the repubs, but this would be the last place I’d broadcast it.

"Or are we taxpayers paying guys with guns to knock on doors of people who got bad grades in high school just to ask if they've committed crimes lately?"

You stated this. That is not what is happening. You lied. Its that simple.

No problem can be solved without getting to the root of the problem. I had rather known criminals be scrutinized than law abiding citizens be victimized.

Have you not see the videos of dem run cities where people are being beaten in the streets, thugs robbing stores in broad daylight? Is this really the world you want to live in?

You and marerider getting upset because a lowlife thug may get a little extra scrutiny is a sad joke.

We know what you mean by "thug".

How about landlords who violate Federal law? Are they "thugs", too?

I think you are hilarious.

Your totalitarian urges make a mockery of your constant claims to favor "liberty" or "freedom". The People should be free from police abuses even if you think it's a dandy idea.
