We know what you mean by "thug".

How about landlords who violate Federal law? Are they "thugs", too?
yes

How is it all the right wing scum who normally scream about their freedoms being taken away if you so much as ask them to wear a life saving mask now bend over like tulips in a hurricane when it’s redneck scumbag cops compromising the rights of poor folk.

Yeah yeah though because my right wing clown it’s about as simple as it gets in science terms.
It’s EXACTLY the same as turning away or using a hanky when you cough or sneeze, it greatly reduces the droplets leaving your mouth and nose from reaching the mouths and noses or bodies of those in your vicinity thus reducing the opportunities for the covid virus to travel from one host to another.
I tried to make as least scientific as I could because really it’s almost imbecile proof logic 🤞

covid deaths are at a low point, a little over 300 per day...when cdc advised it was ok to quit wearing masks the death rate was a little over 500 per day. Saying they are following the science is not supported by science.

Well they are your cdc but the science doesn’t change on this one, masks will always catch the majority of droplets leaving your nose and mouth and whatever is contained within those droplets. Wearing a mask doesn’t keep the wearer safe though they have to rely on the people in their vicinity wearing one too,

WHat? We were in agreement, here. You called the behavior of the police "fascist" on post 2 of this thread.

"Or are we taxpayers paying guys with guns to knock on doors of people who got bad grades in high school just to ask if they've committed crimes lately?"

You stated this. That is not what is happening. You lied. Its that simple.

No problem can be solved without getting to the root of the problem. I had rather known criminals be scrutinized than law abiding citiz ...[text shortened]... ou and marerider getting upset because a lowlife thug may get a little extra scrutiny is a sad joke.
It is pretty clearly laid out what is happening in the articles I've posted, based on years of investigative journalism. They're labeling US citizens as criminals before they've committed crimes and targeting them for increased surveillance. That's way beyond reasonable police practices, and conservative publications like NR agree with that assessment.

I don't understand why you're defending this practice.

As far as "dem run cities" go, is there a control group? What are we comparing it to? It seems like almost all cities are dem run so you can just call them cities.

@wildgrass
So are police breaking and entering into these homes? If yes, then there needs to be lawsuits.

If you are claiming the police patrol bad neighborhoods more often, then I have no problem with that.

I'm not claiming anything, but there is good investigative reporting on it and 4 ongoing lawsuits against the police department. You are welcome to read the links I've posted or google it. Here's a potentially-relevant excerpt from the article:
During some visits, the Times reported, deputies surrounded the targets’ homes in the middle of the night. On others, they wrote or threatened to write code enforcement citations for minor infractions like overgrown grass. Sometimes, they arrested family members of those being targeted.

its clearly laid out that CLAIMS have been made...nothing has been proven.

Most of it's been admitted by the police department, and there are multiple ongoing lawsuits to iron out.
