I've tried the "tone it down" approach. Other critics have tried it.
There was Vietnam. Now there's Iraq. Critics shouldn't stop.

There's some truth in what you say, but I think the reality is far more nuanced than that. I think laicism demands a confrontation just as extreme forms of religiosity demand a confrontation, and I think pretending that that confrontation can be avoided is a delusion.

Stang, from all your post, and from what I gather, you are biased, and what you listen to and read is biased. Why dont you prove me wrong, and make at least one post about somthing the USA has done good in the last 5 years?

well I'll just have to disagree with you, There is strength in Unity, a divided country will fall. Look at Iraq, it is really divided and its not doing to well
