What did I just say in that post? I said the parties had switched entirely by 1920. Can you count? That was 100 years ago. The Dems weren't horrible then. The Republicans were directly responsible for the Great Depression in 1929. THEY were the old Democrats from the Civil War.

I never said we should not talk about how horrible the Dems were during the Civil War. They were horrible, they were the slave owners. But somehow you totally glossed over how I said that those very Democrats morphed into the current Republican Party. So yeah, by all means, let's talk about how horrible the Dems (now Republicans) were then. They have zero relation to the Democrats now. If you wanna talk about them then, then just remember, that party is now the Republican Party.
