Questions about gender vs. sex

This is ridiculously untrue.
I would be intolerant of a guy who tells me is a girl, and when I introduce 'it/girl' to a friend of mine, boygirl says, Oh, I am a boy today.

I have questions regarding gender vs. sex and transgenderism.

Before I ask, consider my many years of posts as someone who leans left, is progressive and also supports the right of trans people to live their lives happily and treated with the same respect as anyone else.

That said: I just have questions and hope for an adult discussion.

Complicated material.

Gender dysphoria is caused by a not feeling that you belong in the biological sex of the body you’re in.

It’s put like this: psychological distress caused by a marked incongruence between a person's gender identity (their internal sense of gender) and their sex assigned at birth.

And now I’ve run out of time… oh well!

No, AJ is not lying. Queers and perverts are constantly throwing their perversions in the face of others.

It is you that lies when you claim they don’t.
Continue the great lie...

That's great, because again, that's not how it works.

Where? What are you talking about? Are you walking around seeing perverts every day or is it just when you click your spacebooks links that are algorithmically designed to anger you?

They gays literally have their own bars and nightclubs and restaurants and entire neighborhoods. They self-segregated from society.

That "internal sense of gender" is what always trips me up. "Gender" is based on made up, often arbitrary cultural beliefs.

Suppose a group of 100 children, half boys, half girls, were raised with no exposure to gender norms, including from media like TV, movies, etc. They all have the same haircuts and clothes, as do all adults in their lives. They all have the same chores and physical tasks, all play the same sports.

Could gender dysphoria still exist in this scenario? Perhaps it could because there are still natural differences in behavior and physical development between the sexes. But culture tends to stress those differences; this may factor into gender dysphoria. If so, isn't that somewhat circular?

However, as ATY said, wires can get crossed, and crossed wires could be something biological as well as mental.

Okay, I'll have a crack at this....I can't make any distinction between the terms 'sex' and 'gender', a person may be transexual or transgender, it means the same thing.

There are a very few people who are born with both male and female genitalia, and these people are usually medically assisted to become one gender (sex) or the other, just as there are people who a ...[text shortened]... on between a man and a woman, and as long as there are enough of us doing that we should be okay,...
Ok, can you now tell me what you think about trans men in girls locker rooms, sports, and public areas like gyms allowing them into women’s private spaces? I could go on but I’m sure you get the picture. Do you recognize that this is not logical and extremely wrong for the actual women and little girls in these spaces that don’t want them there? I don’t care about what they are , that’s their choice and I wish them happiness. The issue is crossing a line they shouldn’t have and people like sue and others here defending that right. They are saying that what someone believes actually makes them that thing . Let’s say we open everything up to everyone, would these people now feel safe, no they wouldn’t. So basically if trans is genetic or mental, from abuse or whatever, they are still men physically, their sex, so why allow them into these places?

Yes, transgender and autistic identities are significantly related. Research shows that transgender and nonbinary individuals are 3 to 6 times more likely to be autistic than cisgender individuals. Similarly, autistic people are much more likely to identify as LGBTQ+ and outside the traditional gender binary. While researchers do not fully understand the exact reason for this overlap, there are a few primary theories:Neurodiversity & Societal Expectations: Autistic individuals often do not conform to or naturally pick up on societal expectations and social norms. This reduced tendency to follow unwritten rules or "mask" may allow them to connect more readily with their true gender identity.Brain & Cognitive Differences: Some studies indicate that certain brain structures and cognitive traits (such as differences in social cognition and sensory processing) are associated with both neurodivergence and gender variance.

The thing is, you should view it as they have sexual organs that don’t match their expectations.

Say, you’re male. And you look down and there is no willy there, but a flamouche.
You’d at least think: “Well, that’s pretty strange.”

The whole gender part is that the feeling male or female isn’t binery. It’s a spectrum (or scale) much like autism is a spectrum as well.
So, you could say three things:

* oh, I have a flamouche instead of a willy, I must be female.
* oh, I have a flamouche. I must be a male without a willy.
* oh, damn, I’m stuck in a wrong body.

Well, I say three things, there’s obviously lots of inbetween things as well.

And then there’s the cultural element that comes into it as well.
* I have a flamouche, but I don’t like ironing, I prefer fixing cars and climbing trees with boys.
* I have a willy, but I prefer playing with dolls and dressing in pink.

Etc.

And all these things just combine.
It’s nothing scary and if society wouldn’t care, these people would have a lot less hassle in life.

So they should be able to invade women’s and girls spaces because of how they feel, Is this logical to you. It would be less hassle if that’s what you want to call it if people would pull their head out of their butts and realize this huge issue.
