This may be the answer you are looking for? Shouse had said USAID was leaving people of the world (my words ) to die. I responded that USAID was a 100% US foundation. Other countries should thank us, we have no duty to tehm, and we have every right to start funding just our country. If your 6 kids were all sick, you would not send money to the neighbors for THEIR kids.

So, we give USAID money to over 130 countries because we are nice, and rich (except oe pesky debt, mostly caused by FRAUD).

You ask why THEY should fund part of USAID>

Yes but it depends on the the character of the government to run it efficiently without political interference. THAT is my worry. But Elon Musk owning half the US is a bad thing in itself so we may just be screwed too late to do anything about it unless we win house and senate and survive the blast Trump clearly plans come November, Patel will do anything Trump wants including sending thousands of FBI agents to forcibly remove ballots by the thousands, that seems to be the sinister plan and democrat leaders are well aware of this coming tactic and I don't know what they can do to stop it, also the Squeaker of the House WILL refuse to seat the winners no matter how many votes they got over repubs.
So we may be screwed yet and I don't see a way out.
