I would like to register my disapproval at Tony Blair, for allowing the US planes to land here on the way to Israel to deliver bombs.
These bombs are being used to kill hundreds of innocent people and disable the infrastructure of nations neighbouring Israel.
Mr Blair you have blood on your hands.

Bush probably knows so much about Bliar's crimes that Bliar is afraid to say Boo. Our only hope is that bush underestimates Bliar, and they take each other out, through strategic release of sensitive information of their mutual wrongdoings.

Originally posted by invigorateI'd like to register my complaint against Syria and Iran for providing Hizbollah missiles to kill innocent Israelis, and the Lebanese government for allowing Hizbollah to gain strength enough to START this conflagration. I'd also like to register my shame towards anti-Semitic Europe, excluding GB, who are cowards in the war on terror....

Originally posted by chancremechanicEven is Hizbollah was wrong to attack Israel in the way that it did, it doesn't mean that Israel was right to attack Lebanon in the way that it did.

So registering disapproval of Blair and Bush's support for Israel's action doesn't necessarily imply support for Hizbollah.
Israel's action is both immoral and stupid--and arguably more immoral (but not necessarily more stupid) than Hizbollah's.
First, the civilian casualties and infrastructural damage the action caused have been way too high to justify it.
Second, their immediate military aims are looking likely to fail. Progress has been slow. That's a military miscalculation. What may eventually happen is that prisoners will end up being exchanged anyhow as part of a deal, making all the bloodshed and destruction pointless.
Third, Israel's action, by stirring outrage among Arabs, is liable breeding more suicide attacks against Israel in future, thereby undermining rather than solidifying its security. That's a pragmatic blunder.
Fourth, they are escalating the conflict. Escalation leads to more harm in the absence of success. In particular, Hizbollah would not have escalated its attacks on Israel if Israel hadn't escalated its attacks on Lebanon. In addition, there is a slight possibility of a wider scale war emerging.

1.Support the Lebabanese Govt not bomb their infrastructure,
2.Put an international force into the south Lebabnon border area. However UK US and Israel can no longer supply troops on grounds of neutrality.
3. Address the Israel / Palestine issue. Knock down the wall, give Gaza a port and an airport so they can trade.
4. Put economic sanctions against Israel to start clamping down on Israel's excessive use of force in the region.
Then we can sit down and talk about the Golan Heights, the Shaba Farms and other land disputes.
On the other hand we could adopt Dubya stance of supporting Israel blindly as smashes a sovereign country to a pulp, creating a climate of fear and hatred. And just sit back and watch as many thousands of young muslims are radicalised against the West.
Blair and Bush your actions are not in my name.
